Stayed there as part of tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Prior to my stay I had gotten to Saigon three days earlier, and stayed at one of the many three star hotels in the area for $20 per night, and it met my needs perfectly fine. Moving to the Sheraton to start the tour I expected more for the huge differential in the room rate.

As others have noted, the place is a little older and touristy- large tour groups moving together (my own included) created pandemonium at times. The room was nice, though I've had better, and $36 for wash and rough dry of 2 shirts, two sets of men's skivvies, and a pair of socks was a bit much.

Stayed here for a work conference and the hotel had good facilities and friendly staff. Location is great but the hotel itself looks a bit tired and dated. Rooms were ok but found shower not so good. Would expect a bit better for a Sheraton hotel.

Great location, near major sights and within easy walking distance ie: Ben Than Markets, Central Post Office, Opera Theatre, Cathedral, Reunification Palace and much more. Stayed in the newer tower with club room access on 5th Floor. Found staff friendly, welcoming and very helpful with directions and information. I twisted my foot badly on one night and the next morning was struggling through the lobby when the concierge came up to me and offered her assistance. Was very helpful and appeared concerned which was quite comforting. Will definitely be returning to HCMC and this will be where we stay.

Stayed for 4 nights. Room was excellent in the towers. Bath and shower, good work desk with plenty of power sockets. Free wifi. Nice breakfast. 10 minutes walk to Ben Than markets. Spa is worth trying and was of good quality.

we booked a Club room. honestly we have been to better places. i was expecting something modern and with spotless service. this is a touristic hotel with outdated decor, tired facilities and staff too used to people coming once and leaving. I was expecting something at par with the Shangrila Makati but this place is far away from it. Honestly i would have stayed at Caravelle and saved the difference or upgraded to the Hyatt if we had not booked already. We asked to remove the topper in the bed and they said they could not. so sleeping quality was also so so

Room tip: seems you better stay in the new tower. 50usd extra but rooms are a bit bigger and free internet

Dear Greenmario,

Thank you for your valuable comment and we are concerned that we failed to meet your expectation this time.

We have noted your comments regarding the condition of your room as well as the service that you received while you were here and as such we have raised this issue with our management team and we will address it through our ongoing quality training and maintenance programs.

When next your travel plans bring you back to Ho Chi Minh City, we would like to recommend you to enjoy our Grand Tower which is completely separate from the main hotel and offers many additional benefits and services.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the warmth and hospitality of the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers in the not too distant future.

Yours sincerely

Corina Black,

Director of Sales and Marketing.
