We stayed here for 3 nights and the staff put a great effort in decorating our bed with flower petals due to our wedding anniversary. That was a plus.
The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the opera house where we enjoyed the AO show.
The room itself is a bit dark for my liking and there was a construction site next to the hotel when we stayed there. They still worked at the construction site at 11PM.
I can imagine how grand the hotel was when it was still new. The hotel is still well maintained, but obviously old. I wasn't sure if there is a newer, modern wing but we were staying at the old one with a small classic elevator.More
