The hotel has an incredibly grand entrance hall with nicely decorated communal areas, however some of this money could have been better spent on updating the rooms - they have quite an dated feel/look. Having said this there was some ongoing renovation work during our stay (half the hotel shut off), so this may have been what they were doing.
The corridor outside our room was rather noisy as housekeeping seemed to start very early in the morning.
The outdoor pool provides a lovely opportunity to take the weight off your feet after a busy day walking Ho Chi Minh. The swim up bar was a little expensive, however it was a nice addition to the pool area.
The staff were attentive and willing to help whenever needed.
As the hotel is a little way out the centre the hotel runs a shuttle service. This could be better advertised as this is a useful tool that we imagine many miss out on. We also used a grab to get to our central destinations for only about £2.
