Description: Southern Vietnamese family dishes are the main focus of the restaurant. We will welcome you as if you were coming in our home, with smiles and soft atmosphere, believing that good food brings people together. In a French colonial house, we went back to the roots of Vietnamese cuisine as it was done in the Sixties without MSG.

Tucked away in an alley that you would never find, take a taxi, is the May. Old villa redesigned to a restaurant over several floors and many rooms.

Very wide range of local foods all well presented and very tasty. Salads and fish dishes were best but it all looked good.

Very busy and fair prices for the size and quality.offered, not the cheapest but a lovely room and excellent professional service. Good bar lists.

Hidden in the back streets of District 1, be sure to visit this place! Dinner, dessert and drinks for 5 people only $80. Best pork clay pot we've ever had. Service is very efficient and good clean kitchen.

We were in Ho Chi Minh for work. I booked this restaurant as it's close to where we are staying at , and from the photos online the restaurant look pretty nice. I am very glad that I made a right choice!! The dish is surprisingly cheap (with this kind of quality and decoration it should have cost more!), around US$5 per dish.

The restaurant is located at somewhere unnoticed , so better book a car to go there otherwise taxi driver may take you to the wrong place!

The bill was around USD120 for more than 10 dishes and 3-4 bottles of wine.

Service is great, staff is nice.

Will definitely go there again next time. We were all very happy

Back alley, then Boom! Big House! Greeted by the nice man in the Blue suit and badge (we all know this uniform). You see many hints of beautiful design, with a asian contemporary flair, then gracefully seeping into the traditional cultureware (<---New word of the day) as you go upstairs to your seating. The Menu's seductive wording of Vietnamese dishes create a almost overwhelming feeling of curiosity, honestly making you want to try everything "May" has to offer. Try your best to get at least 3-4 different dishes, you will appreciate how unique everything will blend together and the great detail that go into the dish. Its so well organized, all the way down to the Nuoc Mam paired to eat with each dish. A+ for taste. Just look for the Neon light that points to the way on the road coming in. You will enjoy getting away from the bustle of the city roads for the 2-3 hours you are there! Beware, you will definitely want to go back.
