We chose this hotel in Ho Chi Minh City because they had a 24-hour reception, which was handy since we arrived at 1 AM. They arranged an airport pickup for $13 and upgraded our room for one night, because there was a minor problem with the room we booked. They even extended the breakfast time by half an hour for us, so we could sleep off our jet lag.
The breakfast was good, for Vietnamese standards. Expect a fresh baguette with your choice of egg, jam/butter, noodle soup or fried rice.
The rooms are light and come with modern interior, comfortable bed, a desk with chair and a refrigerator. Our first en suite bathroom was big (room #4) the second was somewhat smaller (#6), but was OK. When you take a shower, the toilet seat will be wet.
The girls that run the hotel also offer tours, but they're honest if they think you can do some things on your own, like the city walk. The market is about 10-15 minutes away by foot, and around are lots of coffee places, bars and little restaurants with decent food.
Minor details: there is no elevator, so the higher rooms come with more exercise. If there is heavy rain, there is some water on the stairs.
I can heartily recommend this hotel to anybody.More
