“Little Saigon Hotel”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

This hotel is in a great location and the staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful.
It is tucked away in a little corner of a side street and surrounded by family living quarters. How fun. We absolutely loved it!!! Our room was very clean and a very safe neighborhood. Live life in the real world and stay here. You won't regret it. Staff, thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Saigon.

Dear Writer,

Thank you very much for your completed enjoyable stay with us. Yet, our hotel is not only the reliable address in Saigon with convenient & safety and central location, but our neiborhood is also the typical lifestyle living in Saigon for anyone who wants to discover more about the lifestyle and culture about the Saigonese.

Again, thanks a lot for your positive comments and we look forward with pleasure to welcoming you & your friends back with us in the coming time.

Only stayed there 1 night, however this boutique hotel has potential. Brand new and very well located (near Caravelle hotel). You have to go through a small alley to reach it, where you can meet some local people and see their life away from the big streets. Rooms are clean, bed is very comfortable and they have all amenities needed. Perfect for a short stay to enjoy the city. Moreover, at that moment they had a special promotion for launching the hotel: 50% on the room rate which is only around 25 USD.

Room Tip: standard rooms are fine

Dear Writer,

Many thanks for your good & positive thoughts of our Little and hope to welcome you back with us a bit longer.

Yet, our hotel is very central & convenient location and just open recently, therefore all facilities & amenities are all new and good condition and our hotel's location is in the alley of busy Le Loi Boulevard ( the hub of the city center ), our guests will definately have a sound sleep at night since it blocks all of the noise outside. And we are currently running the opening promotion.

Again, thank you very much for your positive comments and we look forward with pleasure to welcoming you & your friends back with us in the coming time.

My husband and I visited Vietnam in March this year, for our 25th wedding anniv. Our first few days were spent in Saigon. The Little Saigon Boutique Hotel was more than I could have hoped for. Ideally located off Le Loi St near the markets. The staff see you coming and rush to get the door for you everytime you arrive. They were extremely helpful with organizing our tours of Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta, (without in any way being pushy at all). We were upgraded to the top floor, which was a lovely big room with a super view and large balcony. Everything about the room was superb. And every member of staff was just lovely and spoke very good english. We were made to feel so special, like we were their only guests. Breaky served in our room every day was yummy and always at the time we reqested it. Which worked in well with our tours. The hotel in down a funky little alley, so it's behind the shops on Le Loi St, which probably made it a little quieter. It always felt like we were coming home when we turned into the alley, and all the locals smiled at us as they got used to seeing us come and go each day..I would stay here again without hesitation. and highly recommend it to anyone. Very central to everything and beautiful staff, and service and rooms...10 out of 10 !! We'll be back for sure!!

Room Tip: I think we just booked a double room, but kindly got upgraded to the top floor, which has a huge bal...

Dear Writer,

Reading your reviews & your pics. you took from your rooms drove us a big encouragement with the track what we have been doing every day now. We compromise that we may be "little" in sizes, but not in the hospitality and we are confident that we can do it if we could find some great & loyal guests like yours.

Apart from the central & convenient location with a very secured & quite area, our software " services" rendered to every single guests like a family member is our direction from the top to down staff working in the Little Saigon. And we are happy that we mentioned that in your comment and I will pass your congras. to all of my colleagues.

Thank you very much for your encouraged & complimented comments and we look forward with pleasure to welcoming your family & your friends back with us in the coming time.

In the heart of everything, very quiet and easy walk to whatever you need that you can save up a lot of taxi fares. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Very worth the money with an European breakfast included. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful and provided you any information that a traveler like myself need to when you travel to a strange place. They were first class in their service and ensuring I was comfortable. Not to forget to mention about the bed with a padding below, you would feel that you never want to wake up as it gave you so deep & sound sleep. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone who look for a good bed, high pressure water and convenient place to access anywhere.

Room Tip: The hotel is just behind the alley of 36 Bis Le Loi Street, just 20 meter inside and you will obviou...

The hotel is located at the end of a small and dark alley off Le Loi. This really adds to my excitement of staying in a strange city, but may put some off. Print a map and show it to the taxi driver and get them to drive very slowly past the alley or you will never find it. Mine kept thinking it was off the adjoining Le Lai. As he spoke no English we drove around for 1 hour, even though I was fairly sure where the hotel was. At least he was good natured and didn't try to sting me for an overpriced fare in $'s. The hotel staff say that they are launching the hotel now and taxi drivers will be informed exactly where it is, but they still cannot drive down the alley.
Anyway the hotel is well worth it. Its actually perfectly located between the Caravelle and the market, with great shopping and restaurants all around. The staff could not be better and really go out of thier way to please. The hotel is very new and clean. The rooms extremely tasteful and deserving of the boutique tag. As with most Vietnam hotels the floor was hard wood. The wifi works very well. The standard room has a large flatscreen, fridge (with lots of goodies), kettle and luxurious silk bathrobes.
Beds are really comfortable, hard Asian beds but with lots of padding and give. The AC works very well. You only get a shower, but its a really good one. Lots of nice smelly stuff in the bathroom, but no razor. A strange noise kept coming from outside, I think, maybe plumbing, or something mechanical, but it didn't bother me at all. I think the hotel may be non-smoking, certainly the reception is, but its quite nice to have a smoke on the steps.
Really I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for the price.

Room Tip: I stayed in a standard room on the 3rd floor (with a small outside window, but at least you get a wi...

Dear Writer,

I believe that everybody is like you since we are the ONLY hotel located in the Le Loi Boulevard and thank for your very positive comments about our "little". Yes, you stayed at our our hotel, and then you could save up alot of money on you taxi fares since all of our tourist attractions are within an easy walking distance and give you a quite & peaceful sleep at night since we are in the alley that blocked all of the noises from outside from the bustling city.

A good news is that we are going to open the Coffee Shop down stair on the 5th May 2012 since we can serve our in-house guests with the continental breakfast and evening time you could have a chilled beers or hot coffee since enjoying the typical lifestyle of Saigonese passing by.

Thank a lot for your positive comments and look forward with pleasure to welcoming you & your family back with us in the coming time.

We find this hotel here in TripAdvisor very well recommended and decided to give this a try. First night we stayed in a very tide room on ground floor, next morning they upgraded us for a superior category and we decided to pay and stay on their best room on top floor.
Very nice surprise: room was big and light, shower was very good.
Location of the hotel is excellent on District 1 the most prestigious area in Saigon.
the highlight of this hotel is at the reception. There is a lady called Catherine that make all difference in our stay, she was very helpful and provided us with authentic hospitality. She is the kind of person that makes change in someone trip in a very unknown place.

Room Tip: Just don't stay at the only room located on basement (ground floor) that could be a litlle bit n...
