We've been going here and always get the salmon sushi! Whenever we stop in to BT Market, Baby Spoon is our place to relax and enjoy a meal :)

The Baby Spoon restaurant is a delight - with great meals and good service at a fair price - the largest menu I have ever seen. Catering for all Western tastes this eatery will not dissappoint. Great staff with a good command of english, clean rest rooms all at a price that will leave 'change in your pocket'. We attended on a Friday night and the night market was in full flight just outside the doors - the girls really loved that....even on a full un-disturbed stomach!

Highly recommended.

This restaurant is located behind where the Ben Tanh markets set up every night. What a find.
Huge menu, hard to choose just a few items. You must try Omu, fried rice wrapped in a thin omelette, topped with mince and sauce. Also try the spicy tomato tuna noodles. Hubby ate this for 3 of the 4 nights we went there. But all the food is fantastic here. Portions are huge. We always ordered the small portion and still couldnt eat it all. You could order medium and large.
Caters to all tastes, Vietnamese, Western and Chinese. Prices are very reasonable, on average we paid 250,000 and no more than 300,000 for the two of us.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. I hope the owners appreciate what an asset they are to this restaurant.

We had decided to go the market and were looking for somewhere to eat when we found Baby Spoon. It has a Japanese feel to it and certainly has Japanese food on the menu. The menu was well varied and I decided on the Omu with half Demi glaze and half white sauce in a small serve for one. What came out was big enough to feed the 3 of us! It was rice flavored with onion, bacon and green pepper wrapped inside a very light omelette. The omelette was coated on one side with a bechamel sauce and a very flavour some gravy on the other side with with bacon, mushroom and onion. It was delicious but a very large serve. My husband opted for the mixed vegetable sandwich which was a double sandwich filled with an assortment of grilled and salad vegetables with fries on the side. Again a decent size meal! The service is excellent with smiling, charming waitresses and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. The total meal including drinks was 401,000 VND ($20AUD) - very reasonable. Would recommend highly but if you're looking for real Western food, this is not it.
