We followed all the reviews on trip advisor and decided to try this popular restaurant. We rang and booked ahead which is ideal as it gets busy. Can highly recommend the pizzas, ravioli with sundried tomatoes and goats cheese and the pork fillet with veg.The latter must have been free range,it was absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit higher than you would expect for Vietnam but well worth itand still much cheaper than back at home. The owner Tony is a Britain and a wealth of knowledge of the sights in Vietnam. As someone else mentioned his presence in the restaurant ensures its smooth operation and the service was flawless.

We loved this restaurant - the ambience, food, wine, service - it was all amazing. We pre-booked, which appeared to be a good idea as it was very busy. We would highly recommend dining at this restaurant.

As a frequent traveler to HCM I have been here a number of times. Thanks to TripAdvisor pointing me in the right direction.
Despite the name , it is run by a Brit, and as I always believe if the boss is onsite the place usually preforms, And it is so in this case.
The place is compact to say the least and is on 2 floors.
They do a brisk lunch time trade and good luck if you can find a table in the evening.
They give a complimentary breads and dips, and this is beautiful homemade bread and lovely dips. As well as some Italian bubbly Prosecio or something like that.
The service is tops and the food excellent.

Highly recommended. Don't be late , you won't get a table.

Close to the Renaissance Riverside Hotel.

My second visit here after going for lunch not long after it opened. We enjoyed the first visit ,when two of us had an excellent pork dish. I don't think they did a set lunch menu then but the one they have now is good value. The tomato soup was fresh and tasty .I had the ravioli which I enjoyed and other dishes our group had were Meatloaf and a chicken dish ,which they were content with though not outstanding. A nice dessert and a coffee make the lunch good value for what you get. Service was very good and overall a good experience and their beers were cold- a must when the other two were aussie boys. Saw another diner getting a meatball sandwich which looked great but you'd need to be hungry to finish it. Will we return? -more than likely.

We love Ciao Bella! After weeks travelling in Asia we were tired of rice and noodles and ready for some decent pizza and pasta. After seeing the great reviews on trip advisor we were keen to try, especially after sampling after Italian restaurants in the city, this is by far the best and won't disappoint. The restaurant is unassuming from the front and has a cosy atmosphere inside, the staff are all very friendly and attentive and speak good English. The menu has lots of choice and the specials board was impressive, we were well fed for our dong! :) The bread and dips served before starter was divine, the fresh garlic cloves and dipping oil was so tasty. We were also served with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, as well as two shots of limoncello and a cute bracelet made from jasmine flowers on departure, a nice touch and all for free! I would definitely recommend the Nutella creme brûlée for dessert, it was delicious.
