Mom and I booked Lose the Tie Tour with Ms. Vi prior to our Exotic Asian Cruise aboard RC Voyager of the Seas. Ms.. Vi was always prompt in replying to e-mails, and help make a personal itinerary that fit just what we hoped to see. As our ship was docked overnight, we took Ms. Vi's advice and stayed overnight in the hotel she suggested and it was great! (Au Lac 2 hotel). This proved a much wiser choice than returning to the ship and driving back the second day. Well, the excursion for both days could not have been better. Our guide, Troung, was amazing. We saw and did things we never imagined. The first day, we visited the Mekiong Delta, saw the Water Puppet Show, visited the Night Market (a must see!) and soaked up the culture. Day 2 was spent exploring Ho Chi Min City and boy did we see a lot. A favorite stop was the Fito Museum--it was interactive and so much fun! Troung also made sure that my vegetarian food preference was met, that Western Style restrooms were available at all times, and that mom was comfortable. All in all we had a fabulous time, and I would very highly recommend Lose the Tie Tour Company. If you want great service, a wonderful experience, prompt e-mail replies, and no worries, book this tour!

They helped me put together the tour although I contacted them but two days before my trip - the trip was impromptu but they were able to arrange for everything. They also accommodated my somewhat strange request of a half day tour on the 1st day, a full day 2nd day, and a half day 3rd day. It was my first tour hiring a private guide and it turned out to be everything such a tour promised to be - knowledgeable guide, smooth transportation / restaurant arrangements, flexible schedule, etc. Incidentally, HCM city is an amazing place for touring.

I just spend 2 days touring Ho Chi Minh Ville with them.
From the first email contact to the end, this was:
Really professional, easy to book, always in time, various tour with different transport methods, and last but not least: FUN, i do laugh a lot with them. Tina and Vi are nice, open, fresh, funny girls. they know their town but also their country really well (from building to history).
I let them guide me for place to visit, food choice, drinks. always really good to fantastic choice.

I am traveling around the world for business averaging 7 to 10 days per month since more than 4 years. and when i have some time off, i visit the country/town i am staying in.

i strongly recommend these girls. go there without hesitation!

We spent two fun filled days with Lose the Tie tour and it was unforgettable. We had a friendly tour guide who was attentive, informative, and fun. The tour was meticulously organized with various modes of private transportation waiting for us at every turn. We wanted to do a long list of things in two days and we were surprised at how seamlessly Lose The Tie was able to make it happen. We went to various markets, Chinatown, the Cu Chi tunnels, Independence Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Mekong Delta, Coconut Candy and Rice Paper Workshop, and Lacquer factory. We even got to hang out at an orphanage after we thought the tour for the day was over. Each day we finished the tour at great restaurants for a late lunch/early dinner. Our tour guide was intuitive to the pace and space we wanted; giving us a lot of information while hanging back at times to let us enjoy on our own. We wish we could spent more days with Lose the Tie Tour.

Vi did a wonderful job of guiding and interpreting for our family of 6 on our one day (cruise ship) visit to Ho Chi Min City. She is such a joyful person to spend time with! We liked her so much we even invited her to visit us in the USA! We can recommend her wholeheartedly. She even arranged a van for transport in HCMC after we took the RCCL bus from the ship which docked 2 hours away in Phu My.
