We landed in Ho Chi Minh with nowhere to go, so after getting a taxi into town from the airport we were looking around at some mid to high price hotels which were very expensive. We looked around until a nice young man handed out a flyer with the hotel on it and took us into this busstling back street. They showed us in and were met by friendly staff and we then booked in 3 nights, we went in Novemeber so the prices were about $14 a night for a room. After climbing the 4 sets of stairs to our room we were welcomed witha clean en suite and 2 single beds, tv and fridge and a balcony (which was great to watch the lightining storm and rain)
This was a very nice small hotel in the city. The staff were very accomodating (especialy when our departure was brought forward by 28 hours to 4am and we found out out with 4 hours to spare and we had to leave and they reimbursed us our final night) No food, just rooms.
I would recommend this hotel for its simplicity and suitability for travellers, dont go there if you want luxury and no stairs.More
