We did the Chef’s Tour over five hours of buzzing across the city from one delicacy to the next. As much as we’re into local cuisines, we never would have been able to locate so many extraordinary dishes on our own.
Neither of us had much experience with motorbikes. The no-rules traffic in Saigon is overwhelming at first—especially when you’re just trying to cross the street--but seeing Saigon as bike passengers gave us a real appreciation of the city as locals experience it.
Ky and Linh2 were great food guides—fun, knowledgeable and flexible about preferences. Before we started, we thought five hours seemed like a long time. By the end, we were just sorry we were too full and the tour was over.
