Has nearby tour agencies. Very easy and convenient.
Nearby to a halal eatery, which served really good food!
This hotel is opposite the park, so we got to see what the locals usually do in the evening after work. Very nice!
This hotel is a little bit inside, as in it's not by the roadside. So very peaceful sleep. No bustling noises frm the very busy road. Cool. Thumbs up!

Room Tip: Get the room for three to stay for two. It's really a lot more spacious.

Our first time visit to Ho Chi Minh from 22/2/2012 - 25/2/2012 stayed in this hotel. A budget hotel with reasonable price and great service. Location wise is perfect. Near tourist spot with many bar & restaurants. The staff there greeted us with a big smile. Very helpful & friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small but acceptable. Bathroom is clean. Air cond works well. Breakfast is nice but they take some time to prepare it. We can order outside food into the hotel. Benh Tanh Market is about 10-15mins walk from the hotel. Transfer to & from Airport was arranged perfectly by the staff. Taxi is everywhere outside the hotel. We had a memorable days in Ho Chi Minh City overall.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and couldn't fault it. Excellent location, there was a staff member watching for us as we came up the alley who took my bag. Was able to get laundry done in a day, they called someone to get a sim for me and activated it. We stayed at the Bich Duyen last time and this is much better. Will definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Very quite rooms and the bakery on the main road is excellent for a snack if you have an early bus t...

The staff are reliable and responsive. We booked by e-mail and nothing went wrong. In fact, on the second night we wanted to change from family room that we booked to double room (twin bed) and they were ok with it as long as there was double room available. The staff also help us to arrange our bus to Mui Ne.

The alley going to the hotel - next to Sago Tour from the main street where your bus/taxi stops - is not as scary as we thought. Pham Ngu Lao area is crowded with tourists so nothing to worry about.

The WiFi works well and the business center is good too. Basically the cost per person per night is USD 10.

Our family spent one week in Golden Wind hotel. The location of this hotel is great. The alleys and little streets nearby are so lovely and authentic. Rooms are quite silent, beds ok.
Like someone said, you can´t expect to have Hilton standard in this price, and I think price/quality is good.

But there´s a construction going on the hotel. You will hear knocking and etc. noise from 07 on the morning. And you can smell when they´re painting. I don´t know when its gonna be finished, My guess is that it still takes several months.

And one major problem: there are no closets or proper tables where you could put your stuff. Yeah, there is a huge closet but only couple of hangers and that´t it, no shelves. Very unpractical and way too big - you can actually go in the closet and put a chair in it. We did so, because could put some of our clothes onto the chair and at the same time got rid of the chair, cause the room was so small. There are no luggage shelf in the room - with our two big baggages and two trolleys, not so nice...

The same problem with bathroom. Only a sink, toilet seat and shower without a curtain.

Anyhow, I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking low-price accomodation with good location. But if you have children AND you are going to stay several nights at this hotel, thing again. I think the hotel is suits best for backpackers and people who are staying in Saigon only couple of days.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Although its down a small ally so make sure you know were your going. Everything else was just average. I don't really have any big complaints but there nothing special about this place.

Of course it's not the Hilton, but for the price, it's a very good hotel with a great location, very nice owners and stuff. Before we stayed in Tan Hoang Long Hotel, which was neraly double the price and smaller and less nicer rooms. The only reason I do not give 5 points is, because of the light smell of cigarette smoke in our non smoker room.

Room Tip: The twin bed rooms seem to be a bit bigger than the double bed rooms
