I really loved this cooking class, even my 8 years old daughter, who cooked too! All courses were very tasty, and this restaurant is a beautiful place to go and eat all vietnamien specialities. This is THE thing-to-do in Saigon, to discover authentic cuisine. i recommend it!

Very welcoming and warm people, the market is really something different, food in the market is the most fresh you can imagine, literally most seafood still alive... But avoid if you don't specially like to e frown of what your going to eat... ;)

Cooking experience is great, the chef is extraordinary and the recipes are easy to replay. Small groups and personal attention ease the experience... enjoy!

Is not the cheapest in the market, but in my opinion worth it!

This class was a great way to experience Vietnam. We started with a trip to the market, which was awesome...Khang answered any questions we had about the food we saw. Being there early we saw some interesting stuff!

We told them in advance that we were vegetarian (one of us eats fish) and they prepped us a special version of the planned menu, even down to vegetarian fish sauce for my man who doesn't do fish.

I've taken a lot of cooking classes in the US and this one was awesome because we actually did all of the cooking. Each person makes and eats their own dishes. They also did a lot of the advanced prep to make the time in class meaningful... they handed us chopped garlic to speed things up but also had us julienne our own carrots and chop up chili peppers when it made sense to show us different techniques.

And you get to enjoy a four course lunch!! So worth it.

Food, market and cooking is the most direct way to experience another country's culture. Really enjoyed the market tour and cooking class by the good looking chef Khang as well as the hospitality welcome by restaurant manager Mr Khoi Pham. No kidding, the best fried rice paper spring roll i ate during my trip is made by me in the class. I will definitely come back again the next time i visit Saigon.

First, we met Khang in the market; he was on time and quite informative. When it came to the cooking, it was HOT but well explained. Khang explained all ingredients and methods well. The menu and frresh and delicious. The class was well-planned and strructured so that we could prepare each course and then sit down to enjoy the course before moving on to prepare the next course. My problem with this class was the value and the fluctuating prices. After this class, I discovered (from the Siagon Sheraton) that we could have had a semi-private, well-rated class for half the price. After paying $85 pp, we were appeased when we were told that "all drinks were included." It turned out that the first glass of wine was included; each glass after that was charged according to the menu. When our final bill came, and our drinks were 2X more than the menu suggested, we asked why we were charged more than the advertised price; the manager said that we got a "newer version" of wine than on the menu. It seemed like we were being "milked" for our $$$. Make sure you check all your options.

First thanks a lot for your nice comment on our cooking instructor good skills. Glad to read also that you enjoyed what you have cook. Your comment has my full attention and I want to explain more about private courses to enlighten our readers. From 2 pax a private market tour + cooking 4 dishes of your choice + dessert + 1 drink of your choice is 84$ while a regular cooking class with the market tour, 3 dishes learned (instead of 4) + 1 dessert + Iced tea is 45,5 $.
I was worried that we could give you erroneous information about drinks. Please kindly read again the communication you had by email with our supervisor and you will read: "Beside that you will learn 4 dishes + complimentary dessert and drink of your choice", then we attached a full program where is written: "and then enjoy your realized dishes with a complimentary glass of wine or beer or soft drink.", free flow of drinks during private cooking class never have been mentioned, sorry if you expected it.
