Could not have asked for a better place to stay with our budget! The owner of the hotel is the sweetest lady I have met so far in SE Asia. She went out of her way to make our stay perfect. She booked us taxis into the tourist district (about 2-3 USD each way) and made sure the driver knew where we wanted to go when we arrived, she booked our tours for us, told us how to catch the bus to where we wanted to go, she recommended good cheap places to eat, and she even made us our early morning breakfasts we ordered the night before for the days we went on tours and called our room to let us know it was ready!

Beds were comfortable enough and the room we had even had it's own kitchenette with rice cooker and everything.

There is also a beautiful terrace restaurant to eat at with good prices and great views!

STAY HERE!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is a bit out from the city (taxis are about $5 in and out) but nice and tucked away. Miss Phu was amazing and looked after us with directions, tours and taxis. Upgraded us to a room with a window for $1 extra per night. Breakfast in the restaurant on the roof was lovely and a great introduction to the quality we could expect over the rest of our trip. We booked this hotel due to the good reviews and we were not let down. The rooms are great for the price you pay. The showers tend to leak in the bathroom but just pop the provided thongs on and it's no dramas. If we are ever in Saigon again we will definitely stay here again.

I recently spent 4 nights at this hotel, I picked it because of the excellent reviews it had on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint!
The hotel is situated a couple of km's from the centre of town near the Railway station. The local area is fun to explore with lots of little restaurants nearby and a cheap launderette about 200meters away.
The room was large, spotlessly clean and very quiet with a good sized, very comfortable bed.
The staff were, friendly, efficient and helpful.
If only all hotels could be like this!

Room Tip: The manager speaks very good English, if you have a particular request email or ring her.

I have read many reviews about the lovely lady running this hotel, but I must pass on my personal experience. We were standing out the front of her hotel, waiting for a taxi. She normally touches base with the taxi drivers to ensure they are legitimate.
A beggar approached, and they spoke in Vietnamese. Without any hesitation, Mrs Nguyen (?) took some money out of her pocket and gave it to the beggar.
I asked her "do you know her?" She said "No, I told her not to bother you because you can't speak Vietnamese". I was amazed of her respectful treatment towards the stranger. In a city where you have to be careful, and can be constantly approached for one reason or another, it was heartwarming to see.
Her hotel is well run, and she obviously puts in extra effort to ensure her guests are looked after and safe.
Thank you.

Room Tip: Upgraded us for no extra charge, so we could have the room next to our kids. The top floor is the quietest, apparently

The lady who owns/ manages is definatly the most helpful friendly lady ive met on my travels though cambodia and Vietnam. As soon as we walked in the door we were like family. She would sit down and talk with us so she could help with what ever our plans were, which was basicly getting to Nha Trang. We couldn't get a spot on a bus company she knew to be good but got us on one called Tam Hanh, and asked us to email her to let her know how it was so she knew if it was one that she could then recommend to other travelers (great sleeper bus). It just showed that she really cares about the service and information she provides travelers.

The restaurant up stairs was a loverly garden area. Food was tasty but small portions for the price.

The bathroom was roomy with a bath/ shower arrangement. Nice change from the multi-purpose bathrooms many places have. Had plenty of shelf space in the bathroom with seemingly limitless hot water.

Location isnt ideal if you are looking to stay in the city for a while but good for just a rest stop when traveling between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh.
