“Find calm among your storms”
Reviewed February 13, 2014 via mobile

Located in a safe, quiet side street in District 1, it's a wonderful place to stay. Having stayed for 3 weeks, I have a genuine feel for the practices, philosophical agenda of the Ashram. The staff are knowledgable and warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable to stay. Wonderful sense of commitment to the education to the resident guests and daily yoga attendees. I highly recommend this yoga center to get grounded and learn yoga as well as the other spiritual practices involved.

“Where you find peace”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

I spent two weeks there as a residence. Besides the wonderful yoga and meditation experiences, I loved Jayanta's sing, Gang and Saraswati' smiles, and were touched by their kindness.

For a cleaner kitchen and bathroom, do your karma yoga and volunteer.

The place is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood of the city. There is a good vegetarian restaurant near by. There are also many markets, vendors, stories presenting you a lively world.

I would go back there again.

Where your heart be fulfill and your mind silent. Heart of heart. Just jump to the class, quiet the mind, and relax, and breathing. Then you back to your own true self. No more mass have to wear. You become yourself! I just love that feeling so much!

“A wonderful oasis of peace and tranquility in busy Saigon”

Sivananda Yoga centre is a special place, it has a natural spirituality that is comforting and nurturing. English speaking and very helpful teachers make this place so welcoming to a shy, middle aged Aussie woman. Thank you all.

“A sanctuary to relax your mind, spirit and body”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

I am very grateful for spending one week as a resident at Sivananda yoga centre HCMC in July 2013. This was a great sanctuary from the noisy external and internal life you have when living here, particularly when you are going through seismic changes in life ( as I am). What a great place! The space here is really nice, quite tranquil and more mindful than say what you get at a commercial gym.

More importantly, I have learned to incorporate meditation into my everyday life which has been key to keeping me sane. The yoga was a key component to restoring health and mindfulness, especially when practising twice a day; the teachers were great, never forcing you to do what you couldn't do. You truly feel energized and ready to take on anything after morning yoga!

Meditation and Satsang beginning at 6.00 am in the morning was also a good way to experience the rhythms of a day. Being a vegetarian for a week also felt good and the food was tasty. Accommodation was simple but the room was clean and once again a good space for introspection.

Thank you so much to all the Sivananda teachers, volunteers and their passion for making the experience an uplifiting one. Much thanks and gratitude to Ganga, Durga, Shanti and Sati Devi, you were all very kind. I will be back soon for more yoga classes :) Om shanti
