With design concept is taken from the shape of a lotus bud, the Vietnam national flower, Bitexco Financial Tower is not merely a building which is covered in glass and steel, but also a symbol of beauty and the rapid development of Ho Chi Minh City economy, a key economic region in Vietnam. Bitexco Financial Tower is a typical example for creativity and unique design. One of the tower highlights is the first observation in the city at 49th floors. Saigon Skydeck has opened for all visitors from January 1, 2011. With a full range of services and facilities for visitors, the Skydeck has officially opened to welcome visitors both domestic and international visitors since July, 2011. “The views over the city were incredible”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

While not as tall as the 'Shard' in London it did have a lot to offer. If wanting to buy a souvenir do take dollars as dongs were not accepted (??!!).

“An Experience of a Different Kind”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

Seeing the streets of HCMC is a must for any visitor to Vietnam but seeing it from the Bitexco tower is something altogether different. Look carefully to see the new melting into the old. Historic buildings, modern takeover, broken buildings, and more.

Be sure to set aside some time to see it transition from the daytime into the evening. The hot dusty view transitions into a stunning display of deep blues of the night, fairy lights, and headlight speed blurs.

“Very pricey”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

It is 200,000 per person or $10 to go to the viewing deck on the 49floor. Pricey for a building that isn't that high. We went to the the cafe instead for spent about the same with a drink. The glass is tinted thought so you won't get the same clear views. Someone suggested to go to the heli bar during happy hour as the prices for drinks will be very expensive otherwise. We didn't get to go so can't say anything about that. We discovered a great buffet place on the third floor and planned to return but did not get to. But the manager showed us around and it was first class selections with oysters etc in classy surroundings. About $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner.

“Get up for a drink....”
Reviewed January 5, 2014 via mobile

Decided to head up here for a drink instead of paying to go to the viewing level.
So the 52nd floor doesn't take to long to get to, a nice small bar with a few "I love Me" type peoe in there but in all fairness the drink is no more expensive Than the local pubs in Scotland.
So the views are fantastic but if you want to take pictures, the windows are not the cleanest!! Remember, it's the 52nd floor so it not going to be cleaned every week..!! Some people just expect to much..!!

My experience, get up, have a drink and enjoy the view! You will not regret it.
Thanks
