I have just done this trip with our team at the office. I honestly didn't know what to expect as I didn't do any research or check the reviews on TripAdvisor. My friend highly recommended this tour to me. From the moment that I was picked up to the drop off, the service provided by the Vespa Adventures Team members was great, the restaurants visited, offered amazing Vietnamese food, we had local craft beer food pairing, clam soup, crab legs, frog legs etc, I can recommend this tour to everyone, especially if you are a "Gourmand" like me . Vy our host for the night was funny, informative and attentive. If you are in town, a must do! thanks guys and keep it up
My first night in Saigon, it was pouring down with rain, I have never been on a scooer/motorcycle/vespa....and I took the plunge and climbed onto the back of the Vespa and had the best time eating my way around town!
Jenny, my guide, is a gem. Her enthusiasm for food is infectious! She took me to 2 places, one being for seafood. It was some of the best food I had in all of Vietnam! I don't want to spoil the surprises for anyone so won't share the details, but suffice it to say, I'm still thinking about that night and food.
I highly recommend using Vespa Adventures! Ask for Jenny, her English is great and she's very knowledgeable, and equally interested in you!
In August 2019 we joined a Vespa Adventures night time food tour of Saigon. We had done the same tour 3 years ago and loved it so mush we dived in again. We weren't disappointed.
We had an amazing times with Vespa Adventures doing the Saigon after Dark tour. The tour takes you to five different places. A bar, two restaurants, a cafe with live Vietnamese music and a rock bar to end up on a high! Our guide and riders spoke great English and were really thougthful and caring. I did the tour with my 72-years-old dad, and they took excellent care of him.
It is great fun, but also very interesting, as the tour goes to different places in the city, not just to District 1. The chosen restaurants are spot on, as they are restaurants for locals, not for tourists. There is a mixture of seafood, meat, and typical pancakes and springrolls. All food and drinks are included, so we had really a lot to it.
It is a really nice experience to see the city from the back of the vespa. It rained quite a lot during our tour. Don’t be put away if this happens. You are given a raincoat that cover you perfectly. I actually thought doing the tour on the rain adds to the experience!
Overall, we cannot fault the tour, the service and the peple. A really great time in Saigon and we want to thank our guide and riders for an incredible time.
We had a fantastic tour of Ho Chi Minh City recently with Vespa Adventures. Our family, including 2 early-twenty-something boys were ferried around HCMC each on the back of a Vespa. It felt extremely safe with our superb drivers and our guide Miggy was great fun and extremely informative. A great way to see the City, possibly the best way in our opinion!
Vespa Adventures' "Insider's Saigon" tourism a must do. Our guide, Miggy, had excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Our drivers, Huy and Hoa, negotiated Saigon's crowded, chaotic streets expertly, and the vintage Vespas are a stable and comfortable ride. We explored places we wouldn't have found by ourselves and the tour was well paced. We finished with a delicious complimentary lunch at their HQ, Cafe Zoo, then Huy and Hoa tookus back to our hotel. They also do a craft beer tour, and daytime and evening food tours. We're sorrywe didntknowaboutthrm when we were in Cambodia 3 weeks ago; they operate in Hoi An, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Chiang Mai. Excellent value, not to be missed.
