“Outstanding pastries”
Reviewed January 8, 2014 via mobile

The place to go in Ho Chi Mihn for French pastries, 6 days in the city and six visits to this wonderful cafe.

My wife claims they have the best almond croissant in the world, now this is big call coming from her! So they must be incredible!

I tried a variety of meals from quiche to the pastries and enjoyed each and every one.

A great place to shop after the markets for a bit of recovery time.

“Excellent cafe style food”
Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I ate at this place and were pleasantly surprised by the food. This is a sandwich/cafe/bakery kind of place which is perfect for a western lunch. I recommend the chicken skewers with chips.

“Great value”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

The service was excellent! The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious. I plan to eat there again during this trip. I had both a sandwich and pastry. There were 14 in our group and everyone raved about the food.

“Awesome French Baguette and service!”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

The pastries and bread are just too good! I was there with my family for breakfast. The French baguette and tarts are just fantastic! I had the croissants and they were fantastic; crispy on the outside soft on the inside and there is a lingering buttery flavour in every bite Yum! Yum! The baguettes are as good, the crisp together with olive oil and the vinaigrette are just appetizing. You have to try the pink guava tarts they are out of this world! I just hope the restaurant expands and hopefully they will come to Singapore and open a few Branch!

The staffs speak both English and French and are incredibly friendly, the French owner seems to be extremely amiable!

Your number 1 Fan! Sincerely,
RJ

“If you have too ...”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

Ok! I went to this place to get a good coffee since it was right next to my hotel and did not want to walk to Starbucks which is 2 blocks away.

It is around 2.50$ for a bland coffee and another 1.75$ for a pastry. It wasn't fluffy and tasted heavy. I am very surprised as this a French owned pastry place. Aren't they expert in pastries?

This place is overrated. You can get better food and drinks elsewhere in Ho Chi Minh City

Did I mention the rude owner? They yelled at us because our car was parked outside! The owner did not realize that I was still in the shop and my driver was outside waiting. Really, after reading a few reviews, the owners are pretty condescending to their staff and other "Viets".

If you have to get your coffee fix, go somewhere else...
