This restaurant enjoys a very central location, down a small alley. The food is very nice, and the overall experience enjoyable thanks to a good service and nice traditional decoration. The good surprise is that the place is relatively small and quiet, which is rather unusual for a Vietnamese restaurant.

The restaurant tucks in a small, died-end and quiet alley of downtown Saigon. The decoration here make you feel like you're sitting in an ancient house in Hue (former capitol of Vietnam during the country's “dynasty” years) with the heavy black wood door and nacred wooden furniture.

You can say this is a Hue restaurant (I recommend the flat rice flour dumpling, wrapped in a banana leaf). But they still have other dishes from the South such as caramelized cat-fish in clay pot, sauteed morning-glory with garlic.

Their foods are very delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. Kudos for their service. So nice! I'm not a huge fan of VNmese foods btw, but I like this place a lot.

We found this restaurant by chance when looking for another one in the area. Hidden deep inside a dark alley it is hardly visible from the street. We got a table upstairs and found ourselves surrounded by local Vietnamese and Chinese people in the small but very tastefully decorated room.

Service was excellent and so was the food. We got a helping hand from our waiter who explained how to eat and prepare some of the more unusual dishes that we ordered. In typical Vietnamese fashion all the dishes were placed in the middle of the table to be shared by us, which in this case was great since this enabled us to try out several of the tasty dishes available.

Perhaps conceived as a bit expensive by some travelers on a tight budget, but we found it well worth the dongs. So, don't be discouraged by the entrance, it is truly a hidden gem well worth exploring.

We found this restuarant down an alley way whilst wandering around the city looking for another restuarant (which we never found!). We booked for the 7 course set menu. They were able to accomodate our pork-free menu request. The food itself was delicious especially the prawn paste rice paper rolls. The "free flowing wine" was surprisingly good and the waitresses were attentive to continually topping up our glasses. They were also very helpful in showing us how to eat some of the more complicated dishes. The atmosphere was nice and the restuarant is well decorated. Although, it looked empty when we arrived they seem to seat everybody upstairs, so even if it looks empty it probably isn't. The cost was $30 USD per person, which is expensive for Ho Chi Min but we felt the quality of the food, wine and service made this a worthwhile experience.

We had just flown into the country and needed something to eat! The restaurant is hidden in a cul-de sac, you walk up a flight of stairs into a very nice and well airconditioned room.

Staff were very good, the set menu comes with all the wine you can drink, staff even provide assistance on what goes with what as far as food is concerned and provided us with assistance working out how to actually eat the food which was given to us.

The food was great, the portions huge. Look out for the monster prawns!!
