We didn't have a great start, arriving at the hotel to be told that our two rooms booked for 3 people could only fit two people as they were too small to put in another bed. The hotel acknowledged that they had it on their records as for three per room but never bothered to tell us it wasn't possible. Staff were very unhelpful just continually repeating that we couldnt all fit even though they had the room booked for 3 adults. They then tried to make us pay for a third room, never offering any compromise when the problem was completely their fault. In the end they gave us a third room (so small you literally could not put a suit case on the floor at any point in the room (and this is a closed suit case). This room also had a 'all in one bathroom' which meant showering whilst standing over the toilet so the entire bathroom (including wooden door) was soaked after showering.

The other rooms we had both had problems with showers, both shower doors did not seal and the angle of the water from the shower head meant the water just filled up the bathroom floor before seeping out into the room. (a problem fixed by putting a extra towel on the floor blocking the exit)

Other than these problems everything was fine, breakfast was VERY basic, no juice provided only tea and water.

Beds were comfy though, not hard at all like others in asia.
Location was perfect too, just a block from Benh Than Markets.

Our main problem outside the hotel was that we struggled to find decent vietnamese food (the only place in vietnam we had this problem!) not sure if we were just looking in the wrong places!

If they had better staff and breakfast would be a far better hotel.

After a long day of walking through the smog & dirt of Ho Chi Minh City, the rooms were a great place to unwind & wash up.
The shower looked as if N A S A built it. Below the main shower head were several other jets that shooted out at various heights. Good for cleaning those stubborn orifices that we can't always see. This shower is sure to amuse small minded people like me!!
The beds & pillows put the Com, back into cumfort. Very comfortable indeed.

My only gripe with the place was experienced while checking out. You see, while checking in, we'd asked for, and was granted a late check (3pm), but all this was conveniently forgotten come cehck out day & the on duty manager tried charging additioanl 50% of room price.
Naturually, I was having none this. The whole episode was handling very poorly. The manager rang all staff working on the desk from our check in date, and had them speak to us over the phone. Unprofessional indeed, and had to entertain these people with the same answers to the same questions for nearly 30 minutes.

This place was great. Best breakfast in vietnam and the views from the resturant were amazing. rood to floor windows and the staff were amazing. Our room was also great with an amazing shower. The pool was refreshing after a hot day. Only about a 5 minute walk to the main market. Great location adn quiet. The staff were amazing and so so helpful (they even went and got me a top up card for my phone) and they spoke good english

Clean and nice rooms. Ok location, service sufficient and pretty nice pool area on top of the building with 360 views. Breakfast clearly sub-par and better to go somewhere else to eat. Real "tourist"hotel with socks n sandals and predominantly French, German and Eastern-European guests.

This hotel was fine, but really not a four star hotel. It is more like a 3-31/2. The staff was not very friendly. When we arrived we asked for a room on a higher floor and we were told there were none available. Our room smelled like smoke (this is a non-smoking hotel) and the bell boy called downstairs to have our room switched. We were moved to a higher floor (although they said they had none.) When my spouse requested a smaller pillow they said "no problem" and an hour later we called downstairs to find out why we didn't get the pillow and they said they were sorry but the hotel was full and there were no more pillows. No pillows!!?The staff would not allow us to have a late check out, not even one hour later, even though our flight was at midnight. They said it was because the hotel was full, but if we wanted to pay for another night we could do this (isn't the hotel full???) I know this sounds petty, but we have stayed in four star hotels before and this is not the service expected. We also asked if they had a room we could take a shower later..they said no. Overall, the rooms are nice (but my spouse compared it to a holiday inn), the hotel is clean and comfortable. It is just not a four star hotel. Lastly, do not book a tour from this hotel the price is much more than you will pay outside (example, mekong delta- $68, outside-$10).

Please don't stay at this hotel.....staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. When we arrived at HCMC we waited 2 hours for our transfers from the hotel however after no-one came we got a taxi. When we arrived and explained this to the staff they apologized and said we had been informed that no-one would be there to meet us (absolute rubbish, we were never informed). worked out for the best considering hotel charged $30 US each way, each person for transfers and a taxi is about $10 US.
Add to this, breakfast is fairly ordinary. There is not a lot of selection at all. Each time we approached staff for assistance and guidance they were of very little help. If you want to book a tour, do not go throughout the hotel. To see the Cu Chi tunnels they charge $46 US each and although the tour may be private you can get it so much cheaper. If you walk down to Tulips hotel they will organise it for you at a cost of $7 US plus entry fee which is approx $3 US........so much cheaper!!
Finally do not organise taxi's through this hotel as they have an arrangement where the driver will rip you off and give the hotel a commission. They charged us $12 US for what should have been a $2 US fare.
Only good thing is how close it is to the market, though I am sure you can find better. As they say, staff can make or ruin an experience and they certainly did that for us! Do not stay here, wish we knew this before!

We arrived in Saigon to another cheaper hotel and made a made dash to an internet cafe to re-book any hotel we could get on short notice. This one appeared great....but apart from the location I'd defiantely stay elsewhere next time!!

The rooms are SMALL. We had 3 people, so three beds and literally had to stack bags and furniture to move to the bathroom which is also super small.

The hotel really smells. Not just a little waft but awful. It smells like a combined waste/sewer issue - we were glad to get outside to the smog. (This was not just us that noticed this - we met other travellers and all mentioned the same thing!)

The breakfast is also of a low standard - we ate a French cafe down the road each day as we weren't into mashed potatos, boiled pasta and ice tea....

The pool looks lovely in the pics - its just an big cold spa and the lounges didn't have covers on them the 5 days we were there and getting a towel or drinks was nearly impossible - one day we were even told they had no ice so we couldnt order drinks!

The gym is approx 6 pieces of equipment next to the pool in the lovely smog.

The highlight of this hotel is the location and the concierge staff were nice.

There is a booking service (Sea Change Travel) in the foyer - Trang and her team were excellent - they are not associated with the hotel.

I would look elsewhere rather than stay here again - there are dozens of hotels in the area that for starters didn't smell!!
