“A Street of High Class Hotels”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

If you are staying in HCMC, want to be near most of the sights and shops, don't fancy schlepping it in the back packers quarter, and want to stay in a high-class hotel, then you may wanna think about staying at one of the bigger hotels on or close to Dong Khoi Street.

I enjoyed checking out the souvenir shops on this street and the big name hotels have some great bars with good views (The Caravelle, which is just off Dong Khoi, and The Majestic) over the city. It's certainly not my favorite street in HCMC but there are lots of good places to eat and drink around here. I particularly liked the Sheraton's cafe at ground level.
