Owner description: Let us take you on a journey to some of the world's most significant sites. Visit the historical Cu Chi tunnels, the laidback backwaters of the lush Mekong Delta and the UNESCO-listed Can Gio Biosphere Reserve. We offer authentic experiences in areas that can only be accessed via the region's scenic waterways. Cruise between verdant rice paddies and mirror-like pools along the tributaries and canals of the river of nine dragons - the Mekong Delta. Step back into Vietnam's not-too-distant past at the Cu Chi Tunnels to experience wartime life. Cruise mangrove forests off Vietnam's southern coastline and learn about the diverse flora and fauna of captivating Can Gio. Fall into the local rhythm and take time to enjoy the here and now. Connect with Vietnam's landscapes, warm people and perhaps, even yourself.

Don't be put off by the price - it may look expensive, but this is the very best way to see the Ci Chu tunnels. A rep will pick you up from your hotel, drive you to the pier from where you'll depart in a smart, small, new boat for the tunnels. The journey is about an hour up the Saigon River. On the journey, you'll be served a simple but delicious breakfast. You'll arrive at the tunnels before the crowds. Your guide will then take you around (entrance fees all paid for). On your return to the boat, lunch is all laid out - traditional Vietnamise and delicious. Back in Saigon, they'll drop you back at your hotel or somewhere else if you'd prefer. A great trip.

we were had a very young and pretty guide and very helpful hosts and captain on our mekong delta trip.
there were only 4 of us, my friend and I and an english couple and we were treated like semi-VIPs! we were given cold water, fruits (with very generous portions) and wet tissues. the hosts were very thoughtful and always ensure that we are comfortable and good.
the trip into the mekong delta was memorable as seriously, we were the only tourists around! they brought us into the local market, explaining things along the way and we took a walk into one of the villages - walked through padi fields, tapioca fields etc and it ended at a very unique temple! not telling you so i wont spoil the surprise.
if you want to avoid the touristy areas, be safe, be yourselves and be with the locals, this is the tour you have to take. for every penny you pay, it is well worth it :)

We did the Cu Chi tunnels trip and found it such a great day out and fantastic experience all round that we backed up two days later for the Mekong Delta trip. The fact that they take you to places where there are no other tourists was somewhat confronting having children with us, and at times I felt uneasy being gawked at and followed. However the guides sensed my uneasiness and got us back on the boat and on with the tour. The walk through the farming areas was nice but it was a particularly hot day. Then continued our exploration by observation from the river. The lunch in the pagoda was excellent and the guides. host catered to our every need. Highly recommend you seeing the sights of HCM via Saigon river express. Much nicer than a road trip.

We took the Saigon River Express to the Cu Chi tunnels and loved it. Personally, I prefer a boat ride to sitting in a van. Our guide & hostess/cook were fun and informative and spoke great english. Because we were in HCM for only a short weekend stay we almost didn't go see the tunnels but I'm glad we did it was only a half day trip and well worth it.

When we book the trip via email they inquired if we had any food allergies or restrictions and they more than accommodated our request for Pescatarian food! (Vegetarian but we eat fish/seafood) Lunch was great and much more than we could eat ourselves

I booked with this company before arriving in Viettnam. It was a brilliant alternative to travel by River to the Cu Chi Tunnels, Our tour guides were very professional and provided an excellent service. They provided something to eat and drink on the way there, and a beautiful lunch on the way back. Although a more expensive option to the Cu Chi Tunnels, I would happily use this company again.
