“Entirely different puppet show”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

The language was all in Vietnamese and that bothered some of our fellow Gate 1 Travel group. Also the seats were very close together and it was uncomfortable for some of the larger members of our group. However, it was very entertaining and you really did not need the language to get into the simple stories. I enjoyed it very much and it was not overly long.

“wonderful performance and a very good venue”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

I really enjoyed the water puppet show and found it quite humorous as well. We got there a little early and had nice coffe and cake downstairs before it started. We were able to purchase tickets the previous day for a small amount, we would have paid more for this. The orchestra looked and sounded beautiful adding a wonderful dimension to the show. The show was in several segments and while there was a thread running through them all, each stood as an interesting piece. The puppeteers were absolutly amazing, I dont know how they did what they did and I loved it. While there werent many children in the audience it did bring out the inner child in many of the adults there. Fantastic and fun

“be a kid again”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Just watching the kindergarten class reacting to the amazing feats of water puppetry was enough; the puppet show itself was the icing on the rather wet cake for me! Go! Preferably when there are youngsters, many of them, in the audience.

“Scenic beauty”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

We still do not understand how they did the puppets it was funny & well done. We had a fun night out talented people worth seeing. We got a cab from our hotel only $2.50. Brilliant, very entertaining and well done. Went on a trip and had a lovely meal on the river following the show. We are glad we went to this show. It lasted for about 45 minutes, and it was entertaining. We were amazed at the agility of the young people behind the scenes who manipulated the puppets. Although we could not understand the exchanges, the program which describes the different scenes, was helpful.

“Good fun and very unusual”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

This was just behind the War Remnants museum so we combined the 2 in one afternoon/ early evening. You need to book (our hotel reserved tickets for us and we paid when we got there) and the nearer the front the cooler it is (no air conditioners towards the back).
But good fun and felt authentic, not like any other puppet show you'll ever see"
