I got a Dim Sum set lunch and it was good value. The BBQ pork buns were definitely the highlight- fresh and delicious! The rest was acceptable but nothing to get excited about- pretty standard Chinese dumplings. For the price, it was a good option. Lunch filled me up and service and atmosphere were OK too. I'll go back for the BBQ pork buns alone.

Very nice restaurant with dark color decoration. Anyway it is little smaller compare with other similar restaurants such as Thuan Kieu, California....Sometimes had lunch here, and all the time found foods here as a feast. Come to try the broken rice with fried pork rib, a small bowl of vegetable soup, then followed by a tropical fruits mild-shake. It is worth spending every penny

Ok ok so it's not the street food and yes you can get better ,but traveling solo and having a sensitive stomach it's a good place to experience the Vietnamese Com Tam Moc ,or boken rice.
I had it with Shrimp and a dim sum appetizer.Very tasty and suited my weekly lunch time budget
Costing 95,000 viet for the lot.I had extra to go shopping on Lu Tu Trong.
I will return .
Menus were in English as well

Actually Vietnamese people usually choose other popular and inexpensive cafeterias for broken rice. It's not just about the food but also a trait of Vietnamese culture. The atmosphere there is totally different from which at Com Tam Moc; it's much more informal, noisier and friendlier. Keep in mind that broken rice is just a very common dish. However, for those who enjoy both broken rice and comfortable atmosphere, Com Tam Moc is a good choice.

Before we arrived at HCMC, some friends recommended we try the broken rice dishes. We are glad we did, at Com Tam. We ordered 3 different toppings, and they were all delicious and
reasonably priced too.Due to language limitations, we took some time to enquire and decide, but the staff were accomodating and patient, and we had a good meal which we thoroughly
enjoyed, and in a comfortable ambience too.
