Booked a customized private tour of Cu Chi Tunnels, Reunification Palace & War Remnant Museum. Everything was easily arranged by email. Our guide, Mr Ky, was excellent. He catered the tour to our desires. He provided so much information about Vietnamese history and culture. We learned so much. I plan to return to Hanoi & Hue in the future and will definitely use this group.

I have used TNK travel for the past 6 years when organising group tours from Australia.
Our guides are informative and very helpful, travel, tours and accommodation is well coordinated
I have confidently left all the organisation to TNK for tours ranging from 14 to 18 nights.
I commend you to deal with Luu Vo sales manager at the company. You will be more than pleased with the quality of service and value for money
I have recommended to many of my friends who are looking at travelling to Vietnam to contact TNK and they will customise your tour to your requests

I would like to appraise Alex who lead the tour to Mekong Delta in Dec 2013. Alex was friendly and approachable in his interactions with the tour group and he took care of us well throughout the trip. The group enjoyed the one day tour lead by him and we really had a good time experiencing the culture, food and traditional music of Vietnam. Alex is able to bring rich sharing of Vietnam war and his childhood experiences after the post-war. I believe there is some lessons which we could learn from him and after visiting Vietnam.

Cheering for Alex as he continues to lead the tours daily and hope TNK Travel will value him as a good staff. :-)

We saved about $3 each by booking through our guesthouse.
Our guide Tai was hilarious and informative.
However we did the big bus tour to Cu Chi and we would have preferred to do it privately with a small group. Going with a large group makes it feel like a theme park, which it is not. We went when it was really busy and it wasn't a great experience. This is not a fault if the tour company but rather the type of tour we chose.

To end the Vietnam part of our honeymoon we booked a 3 day private trip along the Mekong. Our guide, Moon, and driver, My, were fantastic. Very knowledgable, funny and Moon has great English!

The first day we were picked up on time from our hotel and taken to the office so we could finalise our payment on credit card. We headed to the upper Mekong by car until we went on a private boat trip to an island where we saw how they make coconut candy, rode on horse and cart, ate fresh fruit while listening to traditional music and the enjoyed a 7 course traditional lunch. The food was fabulous!

We then continued to Can Tho, arriving late afternoon where the rest of the day was ours. We ended up going to dinner with Moon and My as they were such great company. The hotel was quite nice and central to the river and markets.

The second day we went to the floating markets on a private boat which was excellent. We cruised the Mekong, got fresh pineapple, went to a village to see how they make rice paper, walked over the monkey bridge and visited some local markets. We then drive 1.5hrs to a snake market and a local village where we had private motorbikes to visit a bird sanctuary. It was great seeing the real Vietnam without tourists. We drove a bit more and visited a crocodile farm then continued to Chau Doc. Our guides left us there and headed back to Saigon. This hotel was not as good as the first night, quite noisy with a karaoke bar across the road and quite isolated from central attractions.

The third morning we had to be ready to leave the hotel at 6.45am. We were collected by cyclo riders to take us to the dock. The cyclo riders asked for tips which was very rude and annoying. We were told there would be 8-10 other people on our speed boat but there were 35 total which didn't totally impress us. The boat went for 5hrs to Phnom Penh and stopped twice to to organise visas. The visa process was very simple, the host on the boat collects your passport, a passport photo and the paperwork that he provides. While the boat did not totally impress us, it was not terrible.

Overall, this tour was a great way to get to Cambodia and a great way to end our time in Vietnam.

Do yourself a favour and as for Moon and My if you do a private tour!
