“Best cha gio ever!”
Reviewed April 4, 2012

This place is awesome!! Yes it's expensive, yes it has tourists, but so what?! It has the best crabs in town!! These things rival Maryland's famous blue crabs. Be sure to try the soft shell crabs in tamarind sauce, or the soft shell crabs with salt. They are really good. Also worth getting are the cha gio, which were the best we've had so far in our time here. Both times the bill came out to $10 to $12 USD pp, so it's much more then a typical restaurant. But that's ok because the food is excellent!

“Quan 94 solved our quest for perfect Crabs!”
Reviewed January 27, 2012

This place was probably the epitome of our visit. The generous portion of crabs were unmatched by the $$ we paid. Value for money. Don't regret for not being there! Trust me. For more details and pics drop by my blog at

“Fantastic”
Reviewed December 17, 2011

You of there for the food and nothing else.
Started out with FOUR perfectly fried softshell crabs followed by equally well executed fried Shrimp. Compared to the US version the latter only had its name in common. I finished the meal with salt&pepper Crab Claws. Wow is all I can say. All that and three beer was $20.
Anyone who knows what a food fanatic I am will understand that I can go to heaven now. :-)

No frills place. I was the only non-Asian, a fact I particularly enjoy!!! You of there for the food and nothing else.

“Supposed to be local but now...”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

Supposed to be local, but now there are introductory articles in Japanese guide books, and as a result the price has went UP!!

This place is now on the high end if you compare it with other local places, even considering the fact that the soft shell crabs served are expensive in general.

The decor is totally local and the level of sanitation also at average.

However, I must admit that the fried soft shell crabs taste good. Very well made.

“Be careful”
Reviewed October 21, 2010

I was looking forward to going to this restaurant. It was ok and then when we were walking down the street there was another by the same name a couple of doors down. It looked much nicer than the one we ate at and it turns out the first restaurant was a fake!!!!!! The restaurants even steal each others name!
