“Huge suites, exquisite interior”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

The residences are next to the interconti hotel. The rooms in the residences are huge, I think all with a nice balcony. Interior is amazing. everything is very clean, house keeping doing a great job. Room service food is delicious too (did not try the restaurant). There is a kitchen and washing machine in the room. Service is also excellent and friendly. Dont miss out to visit the SPA (in the Hotel) Its a bit pricy for Vietnam but worth it. They also offer yoga classes (but i did no manage to attend one)
Location is also perfect. almost everything can be explored by feed.

Room Tip: Rooms with Pool view are nicer than rooms with view to the other side of the bulding (construction s...

My husband and I toured Vietnam with Odyssey Travels in January 2013. We stayed at the Intercontinental Asiana Saigon during our stay in Saigon. Since the hotel was included in the cost of our tour, I can’t comment about the cost of our room or food. What I can vouch for is the excellent service we received in this architecturally beautiful hotel.

The architecture in the lobby and open areas reflects the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Saigon. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable, as you can see from the photos. As with all of the hotels we visited in Vietnam, the buffet breakfast included a large variety of delicious foods---both Western and Asian, especially tropical fruits.

We appreciated the location of the hotel, which was just a block from the Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office, where we bought the best souvenirs. We didn’t have time to swim in the rooftop pool, but we were totally impressed with its beauty. We’ve seen infinity pools before, but this resembled an aqua cube of water. Amazing.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room/ apartment was perfect. Staff all very attentive. We used both pools and the children preferred the "penguin" pool (glass walled) in the main hotel building. We had the Buffett evening meal, very good quality and fantastic staff who organised us a Mekong delta tour. The location of the hotel was very central, the staff organised taxis and tours, they advised us on activities for the children. Between the hotel and the residences there is a shopping mall, this has a supermarket and some food outlets, the supermarkets is worth a visit if you are self catering, other than this there is a spar shop round the corner.

We arrived on 24 April after a long journey to find a lovely hotel with every need met. Room was excellent and bed so comfortable. Lovely cotton sheets and feather pillows which is a must for us. Bar on 1st floor was great, could even get food until 1am. Pool area clean and serviced, not particularly relaxing but for a city hotel did the trick. The gym was great and had a full selection of equipment. Breakfast was fine and a good selection of everything. The coffee was amazing - Vietnam at its best. Location was superb for getting round the city. Thank you to everyone in the hotel for making our trip to Ho Chi Min City unforgettable.

Saigon is a wonderfully exciting city and the Intercontinental Residences puts you right in the heart of all the excitement. For those who know the Intercontinental chain the service standards and room quality at this hotel live up to those expectations. There is a nice, small fitness center and an equally nice, but small pool area. The rooms are huge with a separate kitchenette and even a washer/dryer. Our room had a huge balcony that looked out over the city, which was especially cool at night. This place doesn't have the history of the Rex or the Caravelle nor does it have the extreme luxury of the Park Hyatt but it is a decent five star choice for a nice stay in Saigon.

We stayed at the hotel on the first part of our holiday the hotel was lovely staff were curtious and helpful. We only had breakfast at the hotel but there was plenty of choice. Ideal location for sightseeing.
Couple of niggles the drinks were expensive at the bar but service was excellent. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived although it was 8am we were directed to the spa facilties which were excellent but felt uncomfortable with member of staff following me around in changing room this may have been that she was trtying to be helpful but due to my vietnamese being non exsisitant and her english basis it was difficult to find the reason for all the attention. We also had to ask for when our room was ready and it would have been helpful if they could have provided some a bleep system to let you know. This has been used in a previous hotel which we used.

A great way to rest up before the next elg, or first leg, or only leg of the trip. The flat is fully furnished, including a washer/dryer, has a great fully kitted-out kitchen and terrific stereo.
Halfway through the trip and a chance to do laundry cannot be easily dismissed. Balcony and opening windows! Excellent restaurants in the complex and a convenience store on the ground level add to usefulness of the residences.
Much more enjoyable than a hermetically sealed modern hotel room.
Staff were wonderful, helpful, unobtrusive and knowledgeable, at least about the questions we had.
Really comfortable bed, good shower, separated toilet from bath and vanity.
Could easily live here.
Intercontinental level recognised immediately and whether that helped or not I don't know, but it meant we were directed to the separate check-in desk and escorted to the residences from the hotel without comment other than taking us to the lobby lounge at the residences.
Excellent value and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Even rooms close to the elevators are well sound-proofed, so no particular need to worry about locat...
