A great location - the Ben Thanh market is across the road and good shops and restaurants are within a short walk. The young staff are super helpful and speak good English. I would be very happy to spend more time here.

Have visited HCMC many times and stayed in different hotels - usually for business. This time, came with wife and son. So we knew what we were getting in the price range we paid.

Pros: Staff were friendly and generally conversant in English. Fantastic location. While we were facing a busy street, we were not much bothered by the road noise and slept well. Excellent satellite tv selection, for when it was too hot to go out. Wifi generally worked well, too. We were in a spacious suite, and were impressed by the size of the bathroom (which included a jacuzzi).

Cons: the decor is a little tired, but not depressingly so. The corridors are very narrow and claustrophobic, but this is not a huge issue. Breakfast buffet was indifferent, and coffee a disappointment. But this is Vietnam, and it is easy to walk out and get a super ca phe sua da, without much cost or effort.

We would stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms without windows look Dickensian. Pay extra for the window, unless you plan to be out of do...

We finished our Vietnam experience with 3 days at this hotel. The staff were brilliant, the location was great - within walking distance to most attractions, great local restaurants and right near Ben Thanh markets. The room was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to be right in the heart of things.

Comfortable rooms and good service. Great to be in walking distance to market, restaurants and sites. Excellent breakfast selection. We started a 16 day bike trip here and it was a great start and introduction to Vietnam.

The hotel is certainly central which is a plus, and staff very good. But we felt the twin room was small with little manoeuvring room to move around in. We had asked for a room with a window, which we got, but it was on the small side. And having become used to wonderful fruits for breakfast, the selection here was disappointing.

My friend and I booked 3 nights in this hotel in May 2012 and the hotel itself is wonderful very close to the night market which is a must . Lots of stalls every night and goods are very cheap but you must barter with them .
Breakfast in the hotel is fab as are all of the staff and I would highly recommend this hotel for its location alone.
One thing to be VERY careful of are the bikes where the man takes you for a ride around the city. We were robbed by two elderly gents on the bikes so please check very carefully before going on them. Apart from that I will certainly be visiting again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel as they are very quiet and also request a room with a window...
