Description: We are serious about the term Mediterranean here. We don’t just mean Italian & Greek delicacies, we mean Mediterranean in the wide sense; Turkey, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Spain, etc. We selected wines in harmony with our food and snack menus. Our charming colonial building with no frills, original cement tiles, bare brick walls and old window frames is ideally located half way between the Reunification Palace and Notre-Dame. The space has a peaceful, relaxed feel to it and is a perfect stop on a busy day around the city with a small but extremely popular terrace on Saigon’s most prestigious tree lined street. We are opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A super popular brunch is served from 11 to 4 Saturday and Sunday (bookings highly recommended). As demonstrated by our bikes zipping around the city, our delivery service is the most efficient and most popular in the city, amongst expats and locals alike. Au Parc opened in February 2003.

I had the New York style brunch, it was very tasty with fresh breads and jams. The Eggs Benedict was great too, all served with juice and coffee. Good spot to people watch on a Sunday morning.

We stopped here for a rest, drinks and air-con after visiting the Notre Dame Church, and en route to the Independence Palace. Great atmosphere, free wifi. Well done!

Firstly I note other reviews and also my family said that they had reasonable food .
I and 1 other had the Vietnamese duck curry . Arrived in a clay pot 1 duck leg . Side of rice noodles . Dick leg had not seen the curry (let alone cooked in it ) 1 minute before it left the kitchen ! It is a roast or BBQ duck leg put in a clay pot of sweet tasteless sauce . No spice no heat nothing just brown creamy sauce " trying to be like a massaman curry "
In Yorkshire there is a phrase " fur coat no knickers ! " which means all for show ! This restaurant and the prices based on this one meal tick that box .
Really unhappy with what was to be the highlight of our last day here in Ho Chi Minh .
PS didn't see one Mediterranean dish on the menu despite the claim on the advertising outside and on trip advisor .

Sorry but that is a fair review
My wife and two girls enjoyed their meals - which were not the duck curry .

Dear mmova,

I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience you had at Propaganda.
Though, I believe there is a bit of a misunderstanding here.

Indeed, there are two next to each other and I am running them both. The concepts are very different: one is a Vietnamese Bistro and the other is a Mediterranean & Middle-Eastern homemade cuisine.

It sounds like you were sitting at Propaganda side looking for Mediterranean food. I'll make sure to ask my staff to specify this better moving forward - Thanks for letting me know.
I wish you could have shared this with us while you were here so we could have done something about it.

Customer's care and satisfaction is our number one priority and this is what I fight for on a daily basis.
Hoping to see you again in one of our restaurant one day. We'll make sure to get that duck curry to your taste ;-)

All the best,
Cindy

We sought out Au Parc due to the good reviews here and because it was close to our hotel, and we were very glad we did. In a great location opposite a beautiful park, everything about this place impressed. Nice decor, air conditioned, good service (we were upstairs and, when it was vacated, our waiter asked us if we'd like to move to a table next to the window so we had a great view of the park) and even better food. As one reviewer below said, the sandwiches are huge and would easily feed two medium eaters. The pulled pork sandwich I had was one of the best I've ever tasted (all the baked products here are home made), my wife loved the selection of dips she had and our kids absolutely raved about the bagels they ordered. This place absolutely deserves a visit.
