Staff were welcoming, relaxed, funny & helpful. Staff gave advice & tips and helped us book a tour, taxi, etc. Central location was surprisingly quiet. Our room was a little old & tired but functional & comfortable. Iced coffee was great!

Fantastic spot out of the way of the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of everywhere. The staff are truly wonderful and you instantly feel at home. Would thoroughly recommend. Room clean and spacious with good AC. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are only too happy to recommend one of their speciality teas

Enter through the speciality tea shop and be greeted by lovely staff. Really super. Our room was at the front overlooking a quiet alley, loads of space, bathroom good, little balcony, bed:- fine, clean, nice breakfast, well priced and central location.

This property is one of the best accommodation experiences I have known, especially when I consider what I paid, and some of the horrors I have stayed in for several times the money.

Rooms are large, clean and well furnished, excellent breakfast (pancakes - crepes actually - highly recommended), friendly and welcoming hosts.

Location is hard to beat, very central but quiet and secluded, being tucked away down a narrow side street lined with cafes and restaurants. It is close to a major intersection where you will find convenience stores and more street eating places to keep you busy for weeks. And taxis easy to find.

I appreciated their environmentally friendly style and decor, lots of bamboo, and the base of the bed which was made from recycled loading pallets taken from the warehouse - but not to worry, a good quality mattress ensured a very comfortable night.

Congratulations and thanks to the owners and management for showing what can be done to create the ultimately good guest experience at such an affordable price.

The Nguyen Shack is located down a quiet little alleyway from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.

The staff are amazing and friendly. It always nice to be asked how your day was when you came back after being out.

The room were great for families with a queen size bed and bunks beds.

TV, WiFi and air-conditioning are all present to make your trip comfortable.

In the lobby meals are served and you can
try a range of herbal teas for any occasion.

We look forward to staying at the Nguyen Shack again.
