This restaurant not only has great food but also has a great cause - they provide training for students who come from lower income families and help find them good/safe jobs

After visiting the Literature Temple (have to go) Koto is the best option! The food was delicious, the smile staff is the good result of a well done project. Totally recommend it

This place is beside the Temple of Literature and the area is typical Vietnamese: long narrow corridors, high ceilings, no elevators. You might miss this place if not for the hordes of white tourists near the entrance waiting for their table.

The food is great but not life-changing. It's elevated Vietnamese cuisine done with Western flair. The main focus of eating at Koto is the cause which the foundation supports. It's this cause that makes people want to support this and because of its fantastic service, cleanliness and the great-tasting food, it's no wonder that this restaurant is a success. I would eat here again definitely.

A wonderful restaurant as the food was good and the whole concept of the business exceptional in the respect it is helping the young disadvantaged children learn the hospitality industry. They also serve western style meals, but why would you bother to eat a hamburger in Hanoi. Stay with the local cuisine you can't go wrong.

This restaurant trains disadvantaged youth in English and hospitality skills. Our travel agent booked us here so I don't know the prices (but our 2 coffees and 1 diet coke cost 85,000). We started with pumpkin soup, then spring roll sampler platter, then tofu dish, duck dish, and green vegetable dish with steamed rice. We finished with a fruit plate for dessert.
