This restaurant for us, outdid the 1911 restaurant at the Opera House in Hanoi. The staff were excellent and the food was very tasty and well presented, and yes it is a great cause.

Located right across the street from the Temple of Literature. A good stop for lunch or a break from sightseeing. The food was excellent and supports a good cause.

The perfect spot for lunch after visiting the Temple of Lieterature. KOTO has a carefully selected menu that satisfies all tastes, Vietnamese and Western. Yes, some of the young staff are in training but are very eager to please. What a great way to support a great cause. Win/win!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Koto. The staff were attentive, the food arrived quickly and the meal was delicious! We had spring rolls, duck stir fry and honey prawns..... And even dessert - our first in Vietnam! The coconut and passion fruit mousse was glorious!

We appreciated the story behind this facility. All of the staff are Vietnamese street kids who are interviewed for training positions as part of the staff. The business trains, feeds and shelters them in Hanoi while they have 2 yrs of full time training including food handling, English and life skills. Despite having a full house of customers, one of the senior wait staff took the time to sit down with us and explain his story and how his life would have been drastically different without his Koto opportunity.

Thankyou for our Koto experience.

Everyone raves about the food. I found it comparable with many other restaurants. Its founding principles are fantastic and it great to see how confident and professional the staff are. Price is a little high, but still worth a visit. Make sure you book.
