“Good food with music”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

Ate here a couple of times, as it was next to my hotel, but especially because of the tasteful Vietnamese cuisine. Guests seem to be mix of Vietnamese (good sign!) and foreigners.
Each evening from 7pm two musicians played traditional instruments, though (almost) exclusively interpreting western evergreens.

“High quality food, reasonable price, good ambiance”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This restaurant has always been one of my favorites, I don't know why I did not write a review earlier. The restaurant is next to a hotel and not really in a tourist area. But it really is just a short walk away from tourist areas, or a very short taxi ride and it is definitely well worth it.
It has a great ambiance, is squeaky clean, the service is great and the food comes out at a steady pace and in consistent quality. You just know that whatever you order will be great. We usually share a number of dishes, so we get a little bit of everything.
Their fresh springrolls are superb, and so are their salads. I am a fan of tofu and here they serve the best quality tofu, so I can highly recommend this restaurant.
They put large groups in separate rooms, so the main restaurant is never too noisy.

“Great food, great ambience”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

Nestled beside a hotel, Cay Cau is very unpretentious, just a down-home, authentic, upscale Viet Namese restaurant frequented mostly by locals. The ambience is excellent. The food is fantastic and tasty, every morsel delicately flavored and tinged with just the right spices. The Pomelo Salad was memorable as was the shellfish soup.

“Top class Vietnamese food at convenient price”
Reviewed May 19, 2012

Wonderful atmosphere, in little rooms where you can be seated from 2 to about 12 people. Live, local music. vast choice menu. Wine list.
Top class service in a candlelight ambience!
