Excellent trip was customised for what we required. Mr Dung was our driver and guide and he was very knowledgeable. Had a great day and would definitely recommend a tour with them. Communication and booking the tour was fast, easy and effortless. If you’re looking for a private customised tour this company is worth booking with.
The trip was really fun. We tried many different dishes and Rosie took us to a great coffee shop in a beautiful old house with rooftop looking over the lake. Rosie is very good guide - engaging, intelligent, knowledgeable and passionate about Hanoi.

I want to start this review by commending Brian, the organizer, and contact, for creating such a fantastic tour for us. The communication is prompt and fantastic!
When we met Dung he greeted us with some fried dumplings (banh bao chien) and we instantly knew we were off to a great start! The next few hours continued with good food after good food...until we rolled ourselves into a taxi with full bellies!
Taste of Hanoi is a fab company and provides a superior tour...so stop looking at the other providers and costs and just book with them. We have now used them twice and will book again without hesitation!
This is our second time booking with Taste of Hanoi, but our first time doing the Bites tour. We were 4 adults ages 45 - 69 and it was a hit with everyone!
Our guide Rosie was FANTASTIC!!! She was attentive, kind, and funny, making it a great afternoon and night walking around Hoan Kiem while enjoying many delicious treats! I'm still wanting another banh mi, LOL. It was also my mother-in-law's 70th birthday and Rosie surprised us with a cake at the end with candles to wish her a special birthday - what a kind and thoughtful gesture!!
If you're looking through all the tour providers, STOP and book TASTE OF HANOI...you won't be disappointed!
This tour just opens up the gate to food heaven! What I liked most: On this trip you will discover special dishes, usually only locals eat. Pho and Banh Mi you can get everywhere. Here you finde the hidden, the real taste of Hanoi.
And I tell you: There is so much to discover and a really a lot to taste! And it is so delicious! So don't eat too much before going on this trip.
