My husband and I wanted to explore the far North of Vietnam, immerse ourselves in the local culture and visit places where not many tourists would venture. That was certainly the case. We travelled many kilometres and saw the most stunning scenery along the way. Our guide Mr Long taught us so much about the Vietnamese culture and made sure we were looked after in the best way possible. Our driver Mr Bao made us feel like we were in the safest hands as he navigated up and down the steep mountain roads. We were privileged to go into and stay at local ethnic villages. .. 4 homestays in total. Two of them we had our separate rooms, and the other two were dormitory style with a curtain around. The rest of the stays were in hotels. Being older, I could not have stayed in homestays the whole time, as I do like my creature comforts!. We did lots of trekking through the villages and met the most beautiful people and the children were delightful. Mr Long always had an answer to any questions we asked. It is definitely one of the most memorable tours we have done and such a unique experience.

Dear Carol and Stephen,
Thank you very much for your kind review, we are delighted to read you had a memorable experience in our beautiful Vietnam. Mr Long and Bao are both experts in their fields, you had an amazing team to look after you!
The beauty of this country also lies with its people, so welcoming and endearing. Overnight in homestays is very beneficial for everyone, the locals get to share experiences with travelers, and the guests are offered a true insight of the Vietnamese way of life.
We hope to see you again someday!
Kind regards,
Mr Linh's Adventures Team

We recently travelled from the North to South Vietnam over 13 days with a private tour guide throughout. We had booked our flights and had some idea of what we wanted to see but contacted Mr LInh Adventures who came up with an itinerary to suit and it was all brilliant. We had a local tour guide at each area we traveled starting with Billy who met us at Hanoi airport and whose knowledge and friendliness was great and a perfect start to our welcome in to Vietnam. We had the highlights of Hanoi in 1 day and then followed on to Lan Ha Bay for an overnight cruise with Calypso then met the following day and drove to Ninh Binh for an overnight stay and then a day in the Tam Coc countryside before boarding an overnight train (met by next guide Hoa, to Phong Nha and spending a day at the national park (zip wire, dark cave, mud bath and paradise cave) over night at the lake house and then a day travelling to Hue via the Vinh Moc tunnel and crossing North to South. Next day greeted by Long and a day around Imperial Citadel, tombs, local market overnight in Hue and then on to Elephant Springs, Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills and on to Hoi An. Next day met by Miss Phuong with a day round the local Tra Que Village on bikes (stunning local area) and then she accompanied us the next morning to DaNang airport. Met in Ho Chi Minh by Chin who accompanied us around Ho Chi Minh City, the following day to Mekong Delta and last day to Cu Chi Tunnels. The itinerary was action packed each day but with very informative local guides giving you the best out of your limited travel time and lunch was included where they booked you in to the local restaurants that they recommend and had some lovely local specialty foods. Don't feel we would have been able to see anywhere near as much had we tried to arrange things ourselves individually and also had the knowledge that they were their to assist with any problems that may occur. We had a fantastic trip and wouldnt hesitate to use again if and when we return to visit Vietnam as there is still so much to see. Ideally 3 weeks would be good to include Sapa, 2 nights on cruise at Halong Bay, more time in Hoi An for leisure time and beach (such a pretty area).

Dear Elaine,
Thank you very much for your kind words, we appreciate you took the time to post a review.
With your limited time with us you selected a great tour to see the main attractions of our beautiful country. You are right to highlight the fact that without a guide, your experience would have been different. They are indeed here to clear your mind during your holiday, and allow you to simply enjoy the sites without thinking of the next steps.
We still have many surprises in store if you ever come back!
Looking forward to seeing you again someday.

Fantastic visit of Hanoi city. This city has so secret from me anymore. My guide Ha Thi Thanh was committed and showed me around all day long without ever watching the clock. I discovered many secret places that I would have never been able to visit just following a book. Food, culture, history and simply visiting Hanoi with a local is certainly a memorable experience. Thank you !

My wife and I did the 3 days and 2 night tour visiting Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc Waterfall. Our guide Long was fantastic and was one of the best guides we've ever had in all of our travels. Our driver Duy was very competent as well. Amazing scenery and great memories. Wish the trip could have lasted longer.

It all started at home when I wasn't sure whether to book this tour or not due to lack of time. Then I decided to go for it to get a better glimpse of the Vietnamese culture. It proved to be the best decision in terms of trips booked here: amazing scenery, delicious local food, great locals and villages. One piece of advice if you choose this trip: choose homestay not hotel. In this way you help a lot the local community and you get a much better understanding of their lives, wayd of living, craft. But above all, the person who added an extra plus to this trip was LOI, our guide. He deserves a seven star review. He has a lot of information to provide us with making everything even more interesting than it already is. We loved him because he is very careful with the tourists, interacting with us and connecting us all. We were an amazing group of six: 2 Romanians, 2 Italians and 2 Americans. We had a lot of fun and we all became very good friends in the end. Loi always chose different food for us, this we experienced all the local Vietnamese food. He even cooked for us at our home stay and he is a great cook, believe me. He is also a great singer 🤗🤔 and some other people from our group, too. All in all, Loi is the guide anyone would love to have on such a trip. He is super serious, a lot of fun, knows exactly what he is supposed to do, a great photographer and I only feel sorry we didn't have have him as our guide in all our trips in Vietnam. Time passed really fast in this trip. I cannot but hope that when we come back to visit central and south Vietnam we'll have Loi as our guide again. Hope till then he will manage to catch that chicken and cook it 🤣!So definitely book this tour and ask for Loi as your guide!!!!!!!
