Cong is known for one thing, it's coconut coffee. You simply must have it at least once.

Beyond that, it's a cool looking place, decked out in its 60s Viet Cong look. Some might be prone to flashbacks. Good WiFi and AC as well.

The only thing not to like is that they allow smoking inside. Tragic blunder! My advice for them is have smoking on the outside and to let the more civilized enjoy clean air and the AC.

Of course, if the smoking is too much, and it will be, just get your coconut coffee to go.

you won't find italian styled coffees here, but it's nice to try out some of their more distinct drinks. coconut milk coffee will come with shaved coconut ice, a very nice unusual cup. their yoghurt with coffee is interesting as well. they're a chain store but they pay good attention to their interior decorations and the staff is pretty well trained.

The title of the review says it all. It's a commercialized Vietnamese coffee house where there are Viet Cong memorabilia.

Coffee was good, but anything with condensed sugar milk has to be good.

Free WiFi, and get a view of the mass of bicycle outside.

Don't get the mung bean candy. That's a ripoff.

A must try in Hanoi, cool vibe in the cafe and all the coffees are delicious! The coconut ice cream coffee is my favourite. Sadly they don't have the egg coffee. The free wifi is an added bonus!

Designed to mimic a National Liberation Front building during the Vietnam War - the interior design has sporadic flares of 1950's antique items such as old TV sets, wicker chairs and sofas with vibrantly patterned cushions, the stair case is uneven, the inside dimly lit by the warm lights/windows and the ceiling are low. The building is small but tall and spans over a number of floors with the third floor being a balcony from which you can sit and look out onto the busy streets below. The staff are really great - their uniform is military (in keeping with the NFL theme). We went for the 'Coconut ice cream coffee' which has to be the BEST in Hanoi. A must try if you are visiting.
