If you want great service, good food and a central location stay at La Siesta. This small hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi is a little gem. The staff are fantastic as is the food and the rooms are lovely. This hotel could compete with the best of the best and beat them hands down, some of the larger so called 5 star hotels could learn a think or too from this hotel.

I stayed with La Siesta on for two nights during separate parts of my trip and they were absolutely wonderful. The service from the bell man, to the receptionists, to the restaurant staff was impeccable. Tina was fantastic. She helped adjust our reservation so we could shower before our long trip home. She also arranged all our car transportation at great prices.
The breakfast buffet contained some of the best food we had on our trip. There was a huge selection of hot foods, prepared foods, and fresh fruits and juices. It was a fantastic start to the day.
Do yourself a favor and stay here!!

Stayed at Hotel La Siesta for 3 nights, great location close to restaurants, bars and walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooms were quiet, the breakfast buffet was very good with a nice selection of hot and cold and local and western dishes. The spa was pretty amazing too. The staff were attentive and were always happy to help plan your daily activities and make recommendations. We have recommended this hotel to family and would return on our next holiday.

We stayed here after a long flight from London. The hotel upgraded us to a split level apartment. The rooms were clean and very quiet and we had a bedroom upstairs, lounge downstairs. The staff were so polite and helpful. The airport transfer was really efficient and good value. The hotel is within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants of the old town.

This hotel takes service to the next level. It is brilliantly located in the middle of the old town. We normally avoid hotel restaurants but the one here (Red Bean) was fantastic for dinner. We stayed for 4 nights - one of them in a junior suite which we would recommend (the free laundry service associated with the room was great). We highly recommend this hotel.
