My husband and I were very impressed by the friendly staff and the great service we received.
Because I had a cold they offered to bring me some ginger tea to my room.
They also prepared a breakfast box for us when we had to take an early flight.
The rooms were clean and it was great to have a bathtub.
Great location for Hanoi shopping and sight seeing.

Room Tip: top floor facing east

We stayed at the hotel for 3 amazing nights. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the lake, the market in the middle of the old city. Each and every staff member is a perfect host!!all of them are not only kind and nice, but really helpful.
Breakfast is great! David helped us in the most professional way to plan and reserve ahead everything from tickets to the water puppet show, through tickets to Ha Long bay, taxi and train tickets, Everything in a very professional way!
The hotel was our base throughout the whole journey, we left our suitcases, came back, reorganized them and so on for 3 times, every time we passed via Hanoi to another destination.
All of the rooms are very good, but the suite is highly recommended.

Myself and my boyfriend arrived to the hotel and were greeted by the manager. She even opened the taxi door for us! All of the staff were very welcoming. We were sat down with a complimentary coffee/tea whilst we were checked in. This was a nice idea, albeit a clever technique to try and sell us the various, excellent tours the hotel offer. Anyway, we were sold a standard tour to Ha Long bay and were really pleased! It was cheaper than others on our tour had paid, but it was also $5 per person more than the tour sold at the airport.

We were upgraded free of charge to a room with a window but one night we also stayed in the room without the window and it was absolutely fine!! Don't see the problem to be honest.

They made us a little packed - breakfast as our flight was very early. They charge 400vnd for taxi pick up - we got a metered taxi there nd it was 380 so not much difference and it was a better experience in the hotels car.

I would really recommend this Hotel!

ONE small thing- they quote you a price they want you to pay and if you say no, too much, they reduce it e.g. We had a rate on our room one night and wanted to extend and they quoted $6 higher. We declined and they reduced it no problem, so just be sure to say if you feel it's too much!

Stayed a few nights here as the sister hotel was full. Standard was a bit cosy but clean and new. Heater on aircon unit which came in handy. Staff were helpful in resolving problem with halong bay tour company, one which they hadn't recommended. Breakfast was good. Will stay again. Also had PC in the room.

I found the area very loud and hard to sleep in. Some strange repatious song chant every so often. Also jarring to step out into chaotic traffic every morning to get your "real coffee" fix. They don't even have Traditional Vietamese coffee to purchase or local tea on their very westernized menu. Lipton tea and some basic drip coffee.
Just not impressed in the least with this hotel overall. Prices r quoted in US$ and they round up big time on the convertion to Dong. This whole area of the Old Quarter takes advantage of tourists being fresh off the plane. Prices r silly high compared to the rest of Vietnam and they are very willing to barter.
My advise. Visit this area but don't stay right on a busy street like this, find an quiet alley or stay on the outskirts.
Also, there r no good cafés or resturants right around in easy "not getting lost" distence.
Hotel is very clean however. And breakfast is included.
