We selected this restaurant simply because we were standing outside the front door when we decided to feed the kids whilst the wife tried on some silk dresses at a shop across the road. We were pleasantly surprised.
The decor and fit out of this restaurant is fairly upmarket. The service and prices are also in this theme.
Upstairs is a much large dining area with bigger tables for groups etc. we were seated at a nice table in the front balcony area, bright and aircond working well.
The menu is quite extensive with a mix of viet and Asian fare. Being lunch and looking for a quick meal we just selected a main each.
Simple noodle and rice dishes ranged from VND 125k to 175k. Most mains under this 175k amount.
The food: tasty, fresh and delicious. Photos speak for themselves.
The duck was particularly nice, succulent, moist and tender. The sauce was just okay too. The kids had the various noodle dishes, dad happy to help them try and finish them off.
Always a good sign for a restaurant when the kids are happy with their meals and your not swapping out with yours or reordering.
Not the cheapest restaurant but the decor and staff everywhere costs money so the food prices reflect this. I had two local beefs at VND 35k each. to that your bill will be added with VAT and service at the end so this bumps the price a bit.
In summary: great outcome, wouldn't have any issues coming back for more if we had more time in Hanoi.
