“So charming in a rainy sunday”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

What to do on a rainy sunday in HaNoi? Have a brunch at Tet Decor Cafe! Ambiance is cool and comfortable, very nice decoration and very good food ! (Please try the "mille-feuilles", the cream is unforgettable...). What a nice family moment to end softly the week-end...

“Hitting the sweet spot for cafes in Hanoi”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Tet Decor Cafe is the latest addition to the Tet Lifestyle Collection stable that sprung up in Sapa a few years ago. Since then the owners have embarked upon a journey to provide something different for the local consumer and tourist, something that adds value and reinvests in local ethnic minority communities and something that is unique in its environment, ambiance and cuisine.

This cafe is a little tricky to find the first time, which only adds to the charm and sense of exclusivity. It's a quiet space with gentle music, great food and drinks, combined with low key service. Tet Decor Cafe really hits the sweet spot.

The food menu changes with the availability of fresh organic ingredients, sourced from their own Dai Lai gardens or local Hanoi organic markets or from Yuki's in Xuan Dieu. They don't keep freezers full of stuff - they get it fresh every day.

The cafe, like its sisters in Sapa, has a unique range of fresh juices that will tantalise your tastebuds and be a refreshing alternative to the usual juice fare around town. Lavazza coffee is solid, well made and enjoyable. Breakfast or lunch food offerings are really good. You're unlikely to be disappointed.

Tet Decor Cafe is not trying to be all things to all people. It won't suit everyone and it doesn't want to. It's not there to churn through customers and make pots of money. It's there to be a quiet space with good food and to add to the artistic offerings of Hanoi. Watch them for future renovations upstairs that will open up art spaces and venues for hire.

I'm a huge (obviously) fan of Tet Lifestyle Collection and their philosophy of design and space. I'm a fan of this cafe and it will become my Tay Ho space of choice.

Find it. Try it. Enjoy and appreciate the difference. Take an open mind and open tastebuds.

“Good find”
Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

Heard about this place through fb. Went there in Xmas night for a quiet dinner. It's an old big house done up with beautiful traditional fabrics and furniture. I ate the organic beef burger and my vegan friend are the vegi burger - both were really good. They also have a great range and combination of juices! This place is well tucked away, but worth going to.
