My wife and I spent two weeks in Vietnam. Asia King planned everything perfectly with great flexibility and always attentive to our needs. Qualtiy hotels, excursions, knowledge of history, etc..
Bottom line a very talented and experienced group of guides and drivers. Great communication skills and wonderfully kind.
My only suggestion for anyone who wants to go to Vietnam would be to make sure that they clearly communicate their style of travel. Some people might want to go off the beaten path...In the middle of our trip we wanted to spend a few days solo in HoiAn which we did and really enjoyed, otherwise ASK would have planned every single day of our trip, which would have also been great.

I used Asia King to plan a two week trip to Cambodia (Angkor Wat) and Vietnam for April 2012. The trip was for two couples. All details were included...transportation, hotels, tours, and guides. And all were in high quality facilities and at very affordable prices.

Most of the planning was done by email but to be sure he understood my goals, Nam arranged a Skype call. He was always very responsive and provided either a highly recommended "value" option (or several options) for places to stay or local touring. If I responded with concerns (based on Trip Advisor reviews), he would respond with why my concern was unfounded or with options to address the concerns.

We truly got to see the best of Vietnam in as convenient a way as possible. We had caring tour guides in each location and were pleased to meet with Nam in Hanoi.

I resisted his advice to stay at the beach near HoiAn due to concerns re getting transportation back and forth. I shouldn't have worried. The beach is soooo close and the taxis very inexpensive.

Do keep in mind that there are some wonderful sights in Vietnam but the lack of tourism infrastructure means it takes longer to get there and may require long drives on rough roads. However, this also means there are fewer other tourists. At times we thought we'd gone back 50 years seeing sights before tourism became such a big business.

At one point we expressed a concern to Nam about a guide (via email). Nam immediately addressed this. We know that things won't always be perfect, but as long as even minor issues are addressed...what more can you ask?
