Went with my friends to try out this recently opened restaurant, I almost missed it, the entrance is small and leads to first floor. Small place but it did not matter once we tasted the food. We ordered Rogan josh, aaloo parathas, samosa's, chicken biryani. The taste was really amazing and aaloo parathas are must to try. They do not have tandoor setup yet and tawa made aaloo paratha's come out as good as home made one's. Samosa's shape did seem a bit odd but the filling tasted really good. Staff is polite and it was good to see the Manager himself serve dishes and ask for feedback. They do not have delivery setup but one can order using third party online delivery services. This is my 8th trip to Hanoi and I need to eat Indian food daily, If you are looking for good Indian food, this is the place you should be trying first.

This restaurant is really difficult to spot. It's a small doorway that leads to the restaurant above. It's worth the search! It was really quiet when we visited but the range of dishes is impressive. Being from England I appreciate a good curry and certainly found it at the Taj Mahal. We had starters, mains, desserts and a few beers and the price was very reasonable. The owner took time to speak to us and the overall service was very good. We had a window seat overlooking the busy street below. Food quality was very good and the curry dishes we had were as tasty as any I've had anywhere before. All the usual British curry favourites such as Korma, Tikka Masala, Bhuna, Balti etc can be found on the menu. Well worth the visit.

We spotted this restaurant in a tiny alley thanks to its sign. Food was more than excellent and the owner is very nice and talkative. We definitely recommend it as a must stop in Hanoi if you are craving delicious Indian treats!

We went here (embarrassingly) twice in four days, it was jut too good! Great selection of curries for all tastes and reasonably priced. You must try the aloo paratha it's amazing!
I'm vegetarian and there was plenty of choice.
It's on the busy narrow street of ta hien but above a bar so great for people watching and eating in peace without motorbikes whizzing past.
The staff were lovely, we would definitely return if ever back in hanoi.

Lovely to have a British style curry after 3 weeks of eating SE Asian food. I had chicken tikka masala with rice and nan bread which cost around 160,000 dong.

The restaurant is situated in between a couple bars which play live music so it can be a bit loud. Though we visited on a late Saturday night so this may not be the norm.

Well worth a visit
