I really enjoyed this show, the people are very skilled and the music and show itself were beautiful.
Great evening well spent, everyone should see it at least once!

I went at the last minute to the first show of the day and it was an interesting show. I was able to get a ticket quite easily and I actually got a good seat. The seats are quite small so it can be a bit uncomfortable. Also when you try to enter the theater is a bit chaotic, there is a huge line to the restroom and I was a bit lost at first. The show was cute, I thought that the puppets would be bigger but the show was good. I wouldn't come back and see a show but it was fun to see it once.

It's more like children's shows theatre, well... the Spanish tourist next to me is fall to sleep during the show ! 100.000dong for the entrance fee, I appreciate the AC but the chair are far too small... no place to put your legs in front

The only upside to this show was the respite it offered from the hot and humid late afternoon sun! Not to be disrespectful to the ancient art of water puppetry but this really left me wondering what's the point. Artistically the presentation is average, the mini sketches are a bit corny and overall there is limited reason to applause as you never get to the point of excitement or hit a WOW factor. In fact my husband nearly fell asleep! That being said we enjoyed the aftermath and chatting about it with our kids several evenings on our holiday and it always produced some laughs. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend

There's no more to say. It's Vietnam. It's Water Puppets. Of course you're going. The stories are sung in Vietnamese, but helpfully translated on a nearby screen into English. Some stories are amazing (Dragon & Phoenix) and others just so so (courtship). But Vietnam is the only place with water puppets, so it's a must see. I loved it.
