“Enjoyed the outside more than the inside”

Entrance fee is 20,000VND. Close Mondays and Fridays. Opening hours 8-11.30am and 1-4.30pm. We had to rush through this museum because they were about to close. So spent very little time inside the museum, but loved the huge pyramid wreckage monument outside which I thought was quite neat. Also checked out the flag tower, which was next to it. Do climb up and enjoy the panoramic views of the city.

“Very Interesting”

Be sure to allow enough time for this one, particularly if you're interested in museums, history et. al. Very nice presentation from the Vietnamese perspective about the French and American wars.

“Only if you are into war stuff”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

Was very surprised to see a kiddie art studio (the Vitamin Art) right inside this war museum. I enjoyed the outdoor exhibits and atmosphere much better than indoors. There were many local soldiers in uniform visiting the museum the day we were there. Somehow it feels strange coming away from this museum, the image of kids and crayon drawings seen from glass panels on the first floor balcony and guns on display in the foreground.

“Impress Travel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

Brilliant trip and enjoyed the holidays. No complains. Well done Impress Travel. There are so many interesting places and they are unique. We were there for 13 days. Everyday we were travelling and visiting many many places like museum, Citadel, king's palace, Sapo Hill country and trekked 18 km in 2 days through the mountain terrain, Lived one night with a local family, Went on the Halong Bay cruise. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed every minute in Vietnam. There is nothing I could dislike in Vietnam. Traffic is too great and t is difficult to walk on the Road Pavement. Apart from that, It is a wonderful place to visit. Impress tRavel organised excellent guides who has lot of knowledge and were kind and friendly. The four wheel drive was at the door step on each day to take us on the trip. The cost is very cheap and Impress Travel has done an excellent job. I would recommend to anyone who wishes to travel to Vietnam, please do your own home work and book the Vietnam trip through Impress Travel. They can suggest and organise the tour and only thing you have to do is to pack your bags and arrive in Vietnam in one of the airports. Leave everything else in their hands. They will even look after the Visa to enter Vietnam.
