We went to a number of museums in Hanoi and this museum was one of the best. The design of the displays were simple yet beautiful and the organization of the information (fashion, history, family life, etc.) made it easy to walk through and get a glimpse of the Vietnamese women's roles in society, both past and present.

We were interested to see what this museum had to offer as so many positive reviews were on TripAdvisor, but we were both quite disappointed. We weren't pulled in by any of the exhibits and would have skipped it had we known what we know now. We really hope that it can evolve into something wonderful in the future, but for now, it's just a dud in our book.

Worth a visit if your about. Made me reflect on women's roles etc . Spent around two hours walking around. Not that interactive so maybe with kids not the best but if you read with them should be fine.

Excellent displays throughout this museum dedicated to the Vietnamese women. One area is dedicated to all the heroic women during the war. Another area is their fashions throughout the years. Also gives you an insight into their many diverse cultures and traditions.
