“Very good museum”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

By far the best museum I have visited in Viet Nam. I thought there was a good diversity of exhibits, ranging from objects to photographs, short films, costumes, mock ups of temples and a couple of hands on activities (threshing and grinding rice). The highlights for me were the marriage section and some of the short films, especially the interviews with the street vendors.

“Well worth the visit”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

A nice display of the roles of women in the country: marriage among different tribes, childbirth rituals among different ethnic groups, the work of women, how women played a role during wars, women heroes in history, information about women who sell in the streets every day, fashion, etc.
Plan at least about an hour and a half.

“Interesting in parts”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

A bit repetitive as you go round, but does have some interesting information on the street vendors, not expensive to get in, so worth a walk around

“Nice pictures”

I am not a huge fan of museums, but I liked the Vietnam Women's Museum. It is not too big. I love the pictures that are on display - they are beautiful.

“boring”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Not very exciting at all, don't know why it has such good reviews. It was pretty interesting in that it gave me insight into women's lives in Vietnam.
