“So many things to see”

This was a very modern museum with a lot of artifacts and videos that captured the craftmaking of the different tribes.Outside, they had life-like replicas of the different architectural structures of the tribes, which you could actually enter to get a feel of the place. There was a water puppet show going on when we went, but it was all in Vietnamese.Their Craft-Link gift shop was one of my favorite shopping places as they had quality items at affordable prices. They even had a restaurant, which I regret we didn't get to eat at.Overall a great deal and an opportunity to learn about the different tribes without making the trek to Sapa.

“Worth a look”
Reviewed November 1, 2011

We found this interesting and worth the trip. We had two boys with us who loved the outdoor part of the museum especially all the swinging bamboo and the trees to climb. You could spend a few hours here easily provided the weather is good. The inside part would only take 45-60 mins to view.

“Must see.”
Reviewed October 31, 2011

I usually get bored with museums after about half an hour, but this one is my favourite museum. I enjoyed this place very representative of Vietnam. Ethnics minorities are well represented, their culture, their habit. It was set up modernly, interesting to look at it. The organisation, managing was very professional. 54 Ethnic minorities which represent the Vietnam was a wonderful discover. It is just great and really give you a sense of the country you are.
