I usually get bored with museums after about half an hour, but this one is my favourite museum. I enjoyed this place very representative of Vietnam. Ethnics minorities are well represented, their culture, their habit. It was set up modernly, interesting to look at it. The organisation, managing was very professional. 54 Ethnic minorities which represent the Vietnam was a wonderful discover. It is just great and really give you a sense of the country you are.

Excellent source of information about Vietnam. Hear the story of Ho Chi Minh and how he spent his last few years there. Step into his house and see the simplicity of it.

This museum is worth the cab ride! We were blown away by the outdoor area, where visitors can experience the different living conditions of Vietnam's various ethnic groups. It was an amazing hands-on experience, and we also got to take in a show at their outdoor water puppet pavilion. Inside the musueum was also enjoyable, especially the exhibit showcasing recycling workers. Don't miss the outdoor cafe on your way in (I can't recall the name), but it employs disadvantaged youths so they can attain job experience and practice their English. The service was great, and the baked goods to die for.
