“To be avoided”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

Stopped here just out of convenience, close to my hotel. Food was nothing special, and mostly poorly imitated French dishes - no Vietnamese food. Decor is drab and although friendly, service was hard to find at times. Unfortunate, as it is in a great location on a central street corner in the old quarter- wish someone else would take it up and transform it.

“In A Word, Awful”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

Tired, 2 friends and I looked for a place to eat near our hotel and Malraux was about 200 meters away. That, except for the cold Hanoi beer, was the only saving grace for this place. The food was terrible. The 3 of us had duck, chicken and fish and you could almost not tell the difference---all we're brown and overcooked.

The service was acceptable for us and 2 single person tables. The look of the place was OK.
