The hotel was just built, and renew as a branch name. Ms Thuy Lao Cai was definitely friendly and attentive, She made us feel comfortable with Suite room oh the high floor, the suite room was extremely big, modern and well-equipped. Hotel location was nice on quiet street, our shuttle car could not park in front of hotel but staff acknowledge the time and they welcomed as an nice arrangement. The receptionist would recommend the city trip of Hanoi(one day tour) and Halong Bay(2 days tour by Aclass Opera Cruise) and the trip ran out of excellent. They had a buffet restaurant at lobby with ranges of choie, free tea, wifi for the whole day as well.

Room Tip: Suite room on high floor could be offered for us $40 per night, it was great.

We stayed for the first four weeks that the hotel was open and experienced wonderful treatment by all staff. The management is willing to discuss rates for a long stay unlike the many other hotels that we visited to discuss our requirements and their rates are very competitive for Hanoi. Breakfast was an experience as we were welcomed by name and encouraged to eat so much food that it is a surprise that we lost weight during our stay. Hang But is a very special street in Hanoi, no through traffic is unheard of and its location is perfect - ten minues walk to the lake and a similar amount of time to walk out of the old quarter. Rooms are spacious and the fantastic shower was in a bathroom as big as some bedrooms in other hotels that we looked at. Staff were amazing from the owner to the bell boys; all are focused on providing exceptional service and when i fell ill, Charlie went out of his way to obtain congee for my breakfast to ensure a speedy recovery. We departed feeling that we had connected with the staff, something that has not been evident in travels to many countries. They provide a stay that is unsurpassed and we strongly recommend that you try this hotel next time you are in Hanoi, we know that we will be back.

Room Tip: As it is a new hotel, all rooms are very good.

I generally stay in the Art Hotel, but this time tried their new sister hotel - the Art Trendy.

This place is everything that the Art Hotel is i.e. warm, personal, homely, with super helpful staff and a personal touch - but better! The rooms are more spacious than the Art hotel - the bathrooms are awesome with rain showers etc. As usual - they have thought of everything - the room has a weighing scale, alarm clock, hairdryer, flashlight, shopping bag and umbrella in addition to the usual slippers and bathrobe.

The breakfast spread is very nice, with a small buffet, and also eggs, pancakes and pho to order.

The location is a little difficult to find and not as accessible as the Art hotel, but on the upside, it is right behind Highway 4 a really nice restaurant for Vietnamese food - and it is in a land where there is only traffic - so it is comparatively quiet.

I stayed in 2 types of rooms - they upgraded me - and I have to say the deluxe panorama and the family room were both really nice and well ventilated.

Will stay here again. Hopefully soon!

Room Tip: Rooms above the second floor are quieter, since the sounds of the reception and breakfast area carry...

This was the first place we stayed at when we got to Vietnam and it was a great welcome.

The hotel was only opened for a month so everything is shiny. The hotel has a modern decor and everything is very clean. The only thing is the washroom is a little small, so there is no where you can put your stuff but it was clean.

The staff was extremely friendly and they where all about service. Everyday the hotel would give you free fruit and turn your bed at night and provide a night snack.

We had a pretty large room so it was nice. Every room is equipped with a laptop, tv, fridge and the air con works well.

We found the location of the hotel very convenient. Located right in the heart of the Old Quarter.

The hotel provides free breakfast. They have a spread of fruit out and all the hot food is made to order so it is fresh. They are not cheap on the food. The staff will insist on seconds and even thirds. My suggest off the menu is the Pho. If you like Pho, you have to try it. I must say it was one of the best I have eaten.

Stayed at the Art Trendy hotel during a short family trip in October. Checked in and out of the hotel making short trips to Halong Bay and Sapa during the visit. Staffs were relatively well spoken, helpful and goes their way out to assist you in anyway they could. Hotel rooms were new and beds very very comfortable, was lucky to booked a junior suite at the promo price which well suited our family of 3. Upon return from Halong Bay, they were also very hospitable to house us and provided us a place to rest and freshen up before sending us to the train station for our Sapa visit. Upon returning to Hanoi 2 days later early in the morning, it was actually quite tiring for us but the staffs did not hesitated to check us in despite waking them up from their sleep 5am in the morning. Was offered a choice and eventually choose a deluxe king with a generous bed and bath room. The daily breakfast were a treat with wide selections and ala carte vietnamese and international eggs selections, coffee was also superb which I could help myself with a refill always. Little touch of evening turndown with mini pastries was a nie gesture. The owner or director, Martin, was also very helpful assisting us with various transportation requests to Sapa while we were away at Halong Bay. It was indeed a memorable stay!

Arriving directly from Europe this excellent little hotel was about our first experience with Vietnam. We were welcomed Warmly and professionally by a team of smiling, motivated and highly competent people. Everyone was very helpful and supporting throughout our stay. The hotel is wellequipped with very nice rooms and bath-rooms,fast wifi, great beds and a very tasty and wellprepared breakfastmenu. Located on a quiet sidestreet in the very heart of the Old Quarter secures you a quiet nights sleep. Service is in top as the manager, Mrs Eva proved when she drove my wife across town, on the back of her scooter, to buy tickets for water puppet theater.
We give this fantastic place and Mrs Eva and her team, our very Best recommandations!

Art Trendy has the best service of any hotel I've stayed at. The staff was incredibly professional, polite, helpful and attentive. They helped us get around Hanoi every day and did thoughtful things for us like leave treats that we liked in our room.
If you are going to stay in the Old Quarter, this is the only hotel I saw that is on a street without traffic. The traffic in Old Quarter is very intense, and this hotel is a welcome reprieve from that mayhem.

Art Trendy is easily the best hotel in the Old Quarter.
